We are seeking a Project Supervisor role which involves both operations management and facilities management, ensuring smooth execution of operation and maintaining the safety of the sites under our management.
Operations Scope
- Oversee the relocation of aggregates between multiple stockpile sites using tipper trucks.
- Manage loading operations with wheel loaders and ensure proper stockpiling at new sites.
- Plan and supervise deployment of trucks and heavy machinery (excavators, wheel loaders) for maximum productivity.
- Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure all operations comply with safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage site instruments (ambient air, noise, ground movement, water quality) and implement corrective actions when alerts arise.
- Coordinate with other project sites to optimize resources deployment.
- Identify workplace hazards, enforce corrective actions, and investigate incidents with proper documentation and reporting.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Resident Technical Officer (RTO), subcontractors, drivers, and site personnel on site operations, inspections, safety matters, and traffic management procedures.
- Write and submit reports as and when necessary
Facilities Management Scope
- Manage and maintain all aspects of stockpile sites under our responsibility.
- Oversee turfing (grass trimming), site cleanliness, site security, CCTV systems, site office facilities, drainage, weeding, and pest control.
- Supervise and coordinate teams of workers and external vendors to ensure proper upkeep and security of the sites.
- Write and submit reports as and when necessary
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project & Facilities Management or Project Management
- Business degree holders with at least 3 years relevant experience may also be considered.
- Valid Class 3 driver's license OR own vehicle for independent site management.
- Strong communication, leadership and time management skills to manage both operations and facilities aspects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to balance client satisfaction and operational efficiency independently.
