Role Overview
Optimo Foods Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic team player to support our sales and marketing operations. This role is critical in managing field execution across supermarkets and events, including manpower recruitment, training and co-ordination of promotional materials. The ideal candidate is people-oriented, organised, with a high level of attention to detail and able to lead and manage a sizeable team of promoters with confidence and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Recruitment & Management
- Recruit, onboard and maintain a pool of 60-80 promoters for supermarket and event activations
- Schedule and deploy promoters effectively based on campaign requirements
- Monitor attendance, performance and conduct of promoters
- Maintain strong relationships with promoters to ensure engagement and retention
- Address on-ground issues promptly and professionally
Training & Development
- Conduct training sessions for promoters on product knowledge and brand messaging
- Train promoters on the use of the company’s proprietary IT system
- Ensure promoters are well-prepared before deployment
Co-ordination & Operations
- Liaise with printing partners to produce POSM (Point-of-Sale Materials) such as wobblers, booth panels and other marketing collaterals
- Ensure timely delivery and quality control of all printed materials
- Source and procure all materials required for sampling and activations
- Coordinate logistics for events and supermarket activations
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of manpower deployment, training and performance
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Manager
- Support ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in coordination, events, retail operations or manpower management preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic, outgoing and approachable personality
- Firm and confident in managing people and resolving conflicts
- Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; familiarity with IT systems training is a plus
