The Biofuels Analyst will work closely with Traders and internal stakeholders across regions to support the compliance and certification framework for biofuels trading activities. The role will focus on Chain of Custody (CoC) management, Mass Balance reconciliation, and sustainability documentation, ensuring alignment with global regulatory and certification standards. Reporting to the Manager, the incumbent will play a key role in supporting annual sustainability audits and ongoing regulatory compliance for renewable fuels transactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to handle high-volume regulatory documentation and certification paperwork accurately
• Familiarity of with sustainability certification frameworks (e.g. ISCC, RSB, or equivalent) and/or exposure to Chain of Custody processes will be an advantage

Reporting to the Head of Chartering, the incumbent will be working in a team of 5 staffs. He / She will be responsible for fixing vessels and negotiating competitive rates and terms for the company. Key responsibilities include managing chartering disputes, overseeing the operational aspects of vessels fixed by the company, and developing the chartering market. The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, operators, and chartering counterparts, as well as managing existing client accounts and developing new business opportunities. In addition, the incumbent will ensure smooth execution of shipments and coordinate closely with brokers, charterers, and port terminals.

Open to candidates with transferable experience from the Oil & Gas commodity trading, shipping, or maritime sectors, even if they do not have direct chartering experience.

REQUIREMENTS

• Min a Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of working experience in the bulk shipping operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications
