Job Objectives

As an integral member of the Management team, you will play a key role in partnering the leaders to deliver effective and efficient services to our clients.

The Curriculum Executive supports the Curriculum Head reviewing and writing of the Brand’s Curriculum, as well as to provide training for the teaching staff in implementing the Curriculum, in accordance with the HQ guidelines. The Curriculum Executive must have an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the Brand’s Curriculum, and must be very familiar with the pedagogical principles, teaching culture and expectations of the Curriculum. He or she must be able to translate best practices and innovative elements into implementation, as well as to provide a role model of high standards of professional, teaching and work culture.

This will be for Mandarin Curriculum and IBL.

Responsibilities

A. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

1. Supports in reviewing and developing the Brand’s Curriculum.
2. Supports in ensuring childcare centres deliver the Brand’s Curriculum in accordance with the guidelines and parameters established by theCurriculum Department.
3. Supports in developing, planning and implementing curriculumtrainings/ update briefings for existing and new teaching staff, including ad-hoc trainings for new teaching staff recruited for new centre set up.
4. Supports in supervising, training and mentoring new and existing Principals/Vice Principals/Sr. Teachers in the areas of Curriculum, to ensure most effective implementation of the Curriculum.
5. Assist in ensuring that the learning environment, resources and pedagogical approach at the existing childcare centres are consistent with the standards established by the Curriculum Department.
6. Provides coaching, guidance and support to childcare centres for SPARK certification.
7. Review and conduct Curriculum validation and audit at the childcare centres on an annual basis, to ensure consistency and high-quality standards of curriculum implementation.
8. Provides reports on centres’ progress in all areas of curriculum implementation.
9. Conducts survey and research on Curriculum and its aspects of implementation, to ensure that the standards of Curriculum remain competitive and relevant to the market.
10. Innovate and introduce new elements into the Curriculum on a continual basis in order to stay competitive and relevant in the market

B. OTHER AREAS

1. Participate in the RFP (Request for Proposal) or tender process for any potential new business where appropriate, including the bid document, the financial analysis of new project, terms and conditions and sales presentations to clients (where applicable).
2. Develops and maintain strong working relationships with Corporate Clients/Partners, ECDA officers, Community contacts and corporate personnel.
3. Develops and maintain professional working relationships with employees at all levels.
4. Where required to assist/lead and/or manage assigned projects.

Job specifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, or equivalent
• At least 8 years of teaching and centre leadership experience combined
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of ECE centre operations
• Familiar with coaching/mentoring and training
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Attention to detail with good problem analysis and solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of staff andacross Departments
• Able to work independently and in a team environment

Has been registered with ECDA and attained a L2 certification

Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently with good classroom and management skills.

Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, paying attention to details.

Description

The main job responsibility is to prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals for children. He or She will also ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and perform general housekeeping duties at the centre.

This will be for our Jurong West Centre

Responsibilities

· Plans healthy and balanced meals, snacks and refreshments for children in accordance to guidelines of the Healthy Eating in Child Care Centres Programmes (HECCP)

· Ensures hygiene practices during meal’s preparation

· Plans, prepares and set a clean and conducive environment for serving the children’s meals/snacks in terms of:

· Assists during children’s meal times

· Cleans by wiping and sanitizing tables and sweeping floors after each class meal/snack session

· Ensures that meals, snack and refreshment served is sufficient for children with allowance for second/third helpings

· Maintains the general cleanliness of the kitchen by:

· Washing and sanitizing kitchen floors daily, cleaning the fridge and other equipment on a regular basis.

· Cleans the widows at the kitchen regularly

· Provides a food order list as and when required Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

· Has flair for cooking; able to cook and bake

· Has at least 1 year cooking experience in similar scale

· Preferably has a attended the WSQ Food Hygiene Course

· Has a valid certificate in first aid recognized by ECDA

Objectives

The main responsibility is to support class teachers in the care and development of children at the child development centres. He or She assists teachers when conducting lessons and other classroom activities. The assistant teacher assists to coach individual children who may be physically or educationally chanllenged; and work with small groups of children, with the teacher's direction.

The locations are Tampines and Pasir Ris.

Responsibilities

1) Child Development

• Applies child development knowledge to promote and support children's learning and holistic development specific to individual needs.

2) Learning Environments and Curriculum

• Assists teacher in preparing and presenting lessons plans materials or programmes to children in a one-to-one or group setting
• Assists in monitoring and supervising the children in the classroom, on field trips, mealtimes and other activities
• Assists in monitoring the class when teacher is occupied
• Assists children in routine and transition

3) Family Engagement

• Ability to interact and speak effectively with peers, children and parents in an open friendly business-like manner.

4) Administration

• Assists to make quick, responsible decisions regarding children's welfare and safety, including counseling them regarding conduct and self-discipline
• Provide administrative support for class recordkeeping and updating portfolio and communication book as required
• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

• Certificate in Fundamentals in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE)
• Has a valid first aid certificate recognized by ECDA
