Job Description:
Repair and/or rebuild NOV equipment at the TBD Workshop and any assigned job as directed by the management.
Perform assembly and disassembly of Drilling equipment
Conduct pre-testing and assist with final testing of equipment
Inspect components for wear, damage, and compliance with specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all NOV policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental requirements
Complete required documentation and inspection record
Perform Related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education: NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 5-10 years in Oil and Gas Industry, preferably NOV Drilling equipment
Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical equipment and interpret technical diagrams
Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with hydraulic components, NOV Equipment, AC/DC motors, and electrical circuits
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high discipline, ability to work independently, and a strong safety focus. Knowledgeable on MS apps
Requirements: Physical fitness for a hands-on workshop setting
