Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspections on raw materials and components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
Conduct first-off inspections for machining processes to verify correct setup and adherence to tolerances
Carry out in-process inspections during assembly to maintain consistent product quality
Perform final inspections prior to shipment, ensuring all products meet internal and customer requirements
Coordinate with external vendors for calibration of measuring equipment and ensure all tools are within valid calibration periods
Maintain accurate inspection records and support traceability requirements
Support the Production Lead in daily shopfloor activities to meet production targets and schedules
Assist in monitoring production flow and highlight any issues or delays to the Production Lead
Provide guidance to operators when needed, especially on quality-related matters and work instructions
Work closely with Engineering, and other teams to resolve production and quality issues
Requirements
Good understanding of quality control and inspection processes in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with measuring tools and calibration; familiarity with Image Dimension Measurement Systems (eg, Keyence equipment) is a plus
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
Comfortable communicating in English (spoken and written)
Diploma in Engineering, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, quality, or production
Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is an advantage
