Our rapidly expanding global Ads team is building an innovative advertising offering where our clients can reach engaged audiences and our members can find must-watch series and films at a lower price. Within our Ads business, the Market Activation team’s goal is to ensure our commercial teams are exceptionally prepared and positioned to succeed by setting the standard for go-to-market readiness and launch execution for both Content and Ad solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Market Activation for APAC to act as the primary GTM co-pilot for Regional Ads Leaders, bridging global strategy with regional nuance to turn local expertise into a global competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Planning & Commercial Execution

• Lead regional go-to-market and commercial activation for Product & Content (including Live and Custom Sponsorships), in close partnership with Regional Commercial teams

• Serve as the single point of contact for the Regional Ads Leader, streamlining all aspects of local market activation support (Ads Product, Content/Live, internal launches, sales enablement, etc.)

• Partner with Global Market Activation and Product & Tech teams to translate global strategies into clear, executable regional plans that reflect local market dynamics, buyer behavior, product readiness, and inventory mix

• Act as the primary strategic thought partner for Product Marketing in the region, including product–market fit, feedback loops, product activation, and tracking of key performance metrics

• Ensure commercial plans are accurate, transparent, and adaptable, providing timely insights and recommendations to Regional Commercial teams

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Serve as the regional coordination hub across Sales, MP&O/Finance (RYA), Legal, Marketing, Product, and Global Market Activation

• Ensure regional requirements and nuances are embedded into global initiatives, launches, and quarterly planning cycles

• Lead and facilitate regional participation in cross-functional go-to-market planning, ensuring smooth and consistent in-market execution

• Drive knowledge sharing, best-practice exchange, and alignment across regions and with global partners

Leading a Dream Team

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional team directly responsible for Product Marketing in region

• Support and coach all members of the extended Market Activation function in region

• Foster a pragmatic, high-performance culture grounded in accountability, operational excellence, and measurable commercial impact

• Set clear priorities, define success metrics, and ensure tight alignment with both regional objectives and global strategic frameworks

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience across Digital Advertising & Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Go-to-Market

• Deep, current understanding of the digital media and advertising ecosystem, including the digital ads product landscape

• Programmatic and Ad Tech expertise; prior hands-on or strategic oversight in these areas is a strong plus

• Demonstrated experience leading teams, complex planning and execution across regional or international markets within a global, matrixed organization

• Proven ability to manage and scale cross-functional programs, while effectively influencing & working with a large set of senior executives and key stakeholders

• Track record of building, leading, and mentoring high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-growth, and high-complexity environments

 The Role

Three years ago we launched a new ad-supported tier to offer our members with more choice in how they consume their content. Our ad tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach audiences that are deeply immersed. In APAC, our ad tier is currently available in Japan, Korea and Australia. 

The Ads Policy Team is a part of the Marketing, Advertising, Communications, and Consumer Product Legal Team and sets advertising standards to protect the experience of our members and business partners. We work with a variety of teams from Advertising, Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Public Policy, and Strategic Planning and Analysis to set policies in a scalable way and deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our member’s viewing experience and drives great outcomes for advertisers. Ads Policy Team members are motivated to find innovative solutions, and use technical know-how, user insights and proactive communication to pursue the highest possible quality and safety standards for members and advertisers.

On this new team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic leader. You understand the member's point of view and are passionate about using your combined technical, sales, and customer service acumen to deliver a high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. 

We are looking for an Ads Policy team member who is excited to join us on this journey.

The role will be based in our Singapore office, report locally, and be part of the Global Ads Policy Team. Some travel to the US and other APAC offices may be expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Expert. Develop and draft ads policy across various functional areas (e.g., financial services, healthcare, alcohol).

• Operational Strategist & Project Management. Proactively identify business-critical issues and opportunities to improve how we advise, align, and finalize ads policies at Netflix. 

• Global & Regional Player. Ability to be an advocate for the specific needs of Ads Policy bringing a global lens, striking a balance between scalability, localization, and highly nuanced sensitivities and cultural perspectives within the APAC Ads Markets to drive meaningful ads policies for Netflix, our members and advertisers. 

Experience & Skills

• Functional expertise in Content Moderation, Policy/Legal Operations, Trust & Safety.

• Policy experience with robust knowledge of the technology sector and the key policy issues affecting the internet like online and brand safety.

• Experience managing and scaling a high volume of content across multiple verticals in at least more than one country and/or running multiple, simultaneous and complex policy projects from inception through to completion. 

• Strong communication and cross-functional skills, with the ability to engage, listen, and collaborate with internal departments/teams to align from strategy through execution and translate complex issues into simple, clear language.

• Have experience collaborating closely with advertisers, legal, and sales teams.

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of curiosity with a bias toward seeking innovative solutions, and have a goal-oriented entrepreneurial mindset, driven to succeed and always up for a challenge!

• English language fluency is  a requirement. Additional language fluency (Japanese, Korean)) is a plus. 

• At least 8-10 years of experience in similar roles, ideally with exposure to matters in more than one country and  to regulated industries.

Within our Ads business, the APAC Ads Product Marketing Team specializes in bringing our Ad products to the Advertising marketplace. Regional Product Marketing plays a key role in driving the local go-to-market strategy, translating product capabilities into market-facing narratives that drive adoption and revenue, and bringing the APAC perspective to our global product teams.

We are seeking an agile, operationally-minded builder, a hands-on self-starter who is highly comfortable with ambiguity, to join our growing Ads Product Marketing team. This is a ground-up opportunity to help establish foundational processes, systems, and workflows for a growing team while driving tactical execution on product launches and sales enablement. You'll be the key liaison between APAC sales teams and global product/PMM, translating global strategies into regional execution. If you are a passionate, curious, and collaborative professional who enjoys building new processes and wants to help shape a function from the ground up, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regional GTM strategy: Support the definition and development of go-to-market efforts across new ad product solutions and maximize product adoption across our entire ad offering (targeting, measurement, formats, etc.).

• Create and regionalize sales materials: Collaborate and assist in creating decks, one-pagers, case studies, competitive battlecards, demos, and client-facing collateral tailored to APAC market needs.

• Partner cross-functionally: Partner directly with sales stakeholders, Ads Marketing, Legal, Ad Ops, Enablement, and other cross-functional colleagues to ensure a consistent ads narrative and understand market needs, objections, and opportunities.

• Surface regional insights: Support the Ads Product Marketing  teams to include audience and industry insights, acting as the voice of APAC in product development discussions to inform new ad solution offerings.

• Own operational excellence: Create templates, frameworks, and playbooks that allow the team to move faster and scale as we grow, ensuring sales has what they need, when they need it.

• Scaled Support for sales processes, as needed with materials, talking points, and product expertise.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in product marketing within the digital advertising and/or B2B Advertising space, with a total of 5-7 years overall experience.

• Startup mentality & Hands-on execution: You are a self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguity, capable of building strategy while also implementing the systems that make teams more efficient, even with minimal structure.

• Expert at navigating complex, matrixed organizations: You know how to build relationships quickly, collaborate inclusively, influence without authority, and get things done across teams and geographies.

• Deep sales partnership experience: You've worked closely with sales teams, understand their needs, and know how to enable them effectively.

• Strong storytelling and communication: Excellent ability to translate complex product capabilities into compelling narratives and decks for advertisers and agencies, with comfort in understanding research data.

• Strong project management: You excel at teamwork and can handle multiple sales requests, projects, and product launches simultaneously under tight timelines without dropping balls.

• High-level understanding of the ad-supported streaming space, and the ad tech ecosystem. Experience in programmatic is a plus.
