Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technician to support automation and control system integration projects, including panel wiring, site installation, testing, and basic PLC support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform control panel wiring and assembly based on drawings
• Carry out cable routing, termination, and testing
• Support site installation, modification, and troubleshooting
• Assist in testing and commissioning of control systems
• Work with PLC, HMI, and field devices (basic level)
• Read and interpret electrical drawings (GA, schematic, wiring)
• Ensure all works are completed safely and according to standards
• Maintain good housekeeping at workshop and site

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in electrical / control panel / automation work
• Hands-on experience in wiring, termination, and use of tools
• Able to read basic electrical drawings
• Willing to work on-site and travel when required
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently or in a team

Preferred Skills (Advantage)

• Basic knowledge of PLC (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / others)
• Experience in system integration / commissioning
• Familiar with industrial instruments and control systems
• Singapore project experience

Job Summary

Weare seeking a hands-on Automation & Control Engineer with experience in PLC programming and system integration. The role involves design, development, assembly support, testing, and commissioning of control panels and automation systems, mainly for industrial and FMCS applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC programs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.)
• Perform system integration for control panels, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, and field devices
• Prepare and review control system design documents (IO list, functional description, wiring diagrams)
• Support panel design and layout (AutoCAD / EPLAN preferred)
• Coordinate with internal teams for panel fabrication and assembly
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and prepare test reports
• Assist in site commissioning and troubleshooting when required
• Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for technical clarification
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in automation / PLC / system integration
• Familiar with PLC programming (any of: Siemens, AB, Schneider, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and control schematics
• Hands-on attitude, willing to support testing, wiring check, and debugging
• Familiar with AutoCAD / EPLAN is an advantage
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
