Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant

Job Type: Full-time (5-day work week, no OT, no shift)                 

Location: 5-7 mins walk from Jurong East MRT station 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position offering comprehensive on-the-job training, designed for candidates with strong analytical capabilities, adaptability to dynamic, high-priority environments, and a commitment to quality excellence. Ideal candidates hold a diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a closely related discipline; recent graduates are especially encouraged to apply. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Conduct systematic quality inspections of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products to ensure full compliance with internal specifications and applicable regulatory standards; 

2. Perform routine quality checks across the supply chain, including receipt, in-process, and release stages; 

3. Support the development, documentation, implementation, and periodic review of quality control procedures and work instructions; 

4. Identify, document, and escalate quality deviations; collaborate cross-functionally to conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA); 

5. Maintain accurate, traceable, and audit-ready quality records—including batch production records, test reports, and non-conformance logs—in strict accordance with ISO 13485 requirements; 

6. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives—such as Lean, Six Sigma, or internal quality enhancement projects—to strengthen product consistency, process efficiency, and regulatory readiness. 

7. Any other duties related to the role might be assigned.

Qualifications: 

1. Preferred 2 years of working experience with the Diplomain Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a related scientific/technical discipline;

2. Fresh degree holders with internship experience in the quality role are strongly welcome. 

3. Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, and robust analytical and problem-solving skills; 

4. Proven ability to work independently and effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments; 

5. Proficiency in reading and comprehending technical documentation in Chinese is an advantage. 

6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with emphasis on data recording, reporting, and presentation; 

7. A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a strong capacity for rapid learning and professional development. 

8. Knowledge of CAPA, FMEA, and ISO audit will be more favourable.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. This is a 1-year renewal contract-based position.

Job Title: Research Engineer (Chemical-related)

Salary: SGD$3200-SGD$3700/month, subject to CPF.

Job Summary:

As a Research Engineer, you will be an integral part of our research and development team, responsible for performing experiments and optimizing processes related to the manufacturing of magnetic nanoparticles used in IVD testing kits. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and researchers to drive technological advancements in the IVD field.

Responsibilities:

1.    Conduct experiments in the wet lab to synthesize, characterize, and modify magnetic nanoparticles according to the project pipeline or the customer requirements.

2.    Design and execute protocols to produce magnetic nanoparticles, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

3.    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative processes and techniques to enhance the efficiency and reliability of nanoparticle manufacturing.

4.    Analyze experimental data and present findings to the research team, contributing to the decision-making process.

5.    Troubleshoot and optimize experimental procedures to improve product performance and quality.

6.    Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, protocols, and results.

7.    Stay up to date with the latest advancements in nanoparticle studies and characterization techniques in the IVD field.

Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

2.    Strong knowledge of wet lab techniques and internship experience in synthesizing nanoparticles or related materials.

3.    Proficiency in nanoparticle characterization techniques, such as TEM, and SEM will be an advantage.

4.    Welling and able to work in the wet lab environment.

5.    Familiarity with formulation and optimization of chemical reactions.

6.    Experience in working with magnetic nanoparticles or similar nanomaterials is highly desirable.

7.    Knowledge of IVD testing methodologies and regulations is a plus.

8.    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

9.    Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document experimental procedures and results.

10. Effective communication and teamwork skills.

11. Professional with Microsoft Office.
