We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong cost management skills, extensive construction knowledge, and practical experience with AutoCAD drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Manage and monitor project costs to ensure completion within budget
- Prepare tender documents and conduct tender evaluations
- Liaise and negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Evaluate subcontractor claims, handle variations, and prepare final accounts
- Prepare progress claims, project reports, and contract documentation
- Monitor project progress and advise on cost control and contract matters
- Assist in reviewing and producing drawings using AutoCAD when required
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD software
- Hands-on experience in reading, editing, and producing drawings using AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, costing methods, and contract administration
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
