Job Summary

An Operations Manager in swimming pool construction leads project execution from design to handover, managing budgets, timelines, safety, and quality to deliver structurally sound pools on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple swimming pool construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards
• Plan, coordinate, and allocate project resources including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors for efficient execution
• Lead and supervise project teams to maintain operational efficiency and smooth project workflows
• Monitor project schedules, productivity, and performance metrics to meet project objectives
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities to resolve project-related issues
• Negotiate contracts and manage procurement and subcontractor performance to ensure compliance and value
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions to reduce delays and disruptions
• Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements on site
• Track project costs and resource usage to optimize operational efficiency and profitability
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements for project and process enhancement
• Drive quality assurance initiatives to ensure projects meet contractual and regulatory standards
• Support senior management in meeting organizational and project goals through effective operational leadership

Core Job Scope & Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and update project timelines, milestones, and workflows to ensure timely completion.
• Site Management & Coordination: Oversee on-site construction or technical operations, coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and clients for seamless execution.
• Technical Compliance & QA/QC: Ensure all work complies with technical specifications, design drawings, and quality control standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare, review, and submit technical reports, project documentation, method statements, and variations orders.
• Safety & Risk Management: Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations on-site, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures.
• Resource Allocation: Manage materials, equipment, and manpower, ensuring efficient use of resources. 

Design Development: Create detailed 3D modeling and 2D blueprints, including site plans, pool shapes, depths, and piping layouts.

Technical Documentation: Produce construction documents, shop drawings, and installation plans for contractors.

Compliance: Ensure all plans meet local building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.

Revisions: Make revisions to drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients.

Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to finalize design specifications and project scope

Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop, monitor, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Technical Oversight: Ensure technical accuracy and adherence to engineering standards, codes, and specifications.

Coordination & Liaison: Act as a central point of contact between site personnel, subcontractors, and clients.

Quality & Compliance: Implement quality control (QC) protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including permits, change orders, and progress reports.

Problem Solving: Identify project risks and implement corrective measures to address delays or technical issues.

Job Summary

Modern Pools Pte Ltd seeks a skilled BIM AutoCAD Drafter to prepare and manage drawings and BIM models. Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain accurate AutoCAD drawings and Revit/BIM models to support project design and execution
• Coordinate effectively with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (M&E), architectural, and structural teams to integrate design inputs
• Prepare detailed submission drawings for regulatory authorities and contractors to facilitate approvals and construction
• Verify that all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and project specifications to ensure quality and safety

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software for drafting and modeling
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and resolve design issues
