Key Responsibilities
Carry out civil and structural engineering design and analysis in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
Develop and review engineering drawings and details using AutoCAD, Tekla Structural Designer or other relevant software.
Coordinate and manage submissions to relevant authorities, including BCA, SCDF, URA, PUB, LTA, JTC, and other regulatory agencies.
Liaise and coordinate with architects, contractors, clients, and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Attend project meetings, site inspections, and technical coordination sessions.
Review shop drawings, construction methodologies, and contractor submissions.
Provide technical support during construction and ensure compliance with approved design intent.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and delivery to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural engineering consultancy (fresh graduates may also apply for junior positions).
Familiar with Singapore codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or similar will be an advantage.
Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.
Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
