Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform shift responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the park, including queue and crowd management, and ensuring park cleanliness.

· Ensure delivery of excellent guest experience, including management of guest feedback on-ground and closing service lapses.

· Manage incidents and raise incident reports as required.

· Ensure safe work practices are carried out.

· Review, propose and execute ideas to aid in improvements on park-related and guest experience matters.

· Assist in staff management, including manpower planning/deployment and training.

· Assist to generate and review reports.

· Assist in wildlife management efforts.

· Manage assigned portfolio and projects.

· Other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

· Minimum Diploma

· At least 2 years of relevant working experience

· At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience and exposure to project management.

· Pleasant, courteous, and confident disposition.

· Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English.

· Excellent team player who can also work independently.

· Resourceful self-starter with a keen work attitude, good with time management and problem-solving.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).

· Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

• Ensure smooth daily operations and deliver exceptional guest service through storytelling and creating moments of delight.

• Perform accurate transactions at ticketing touchpoints in accordance with protocol.

• Operate Adventure facility including conducting daily safety checks and securing guests onto high-element rides.

• Resolve feedback, issues and concerns raised by guests.

• Motivate and guide part-time staff in delivering guest experiences.

• Assist to conduct training of part-time staff in consultation with section lead.

• Assist in wildlife-human management efforts:

o Update and maintain records of sightings and movements of wildlife.

o Educate guests on wildlife campaigns in the parks.

• Assist to identify, propose and execute proposals on areas of improvement to create and enhance guest experience within the park.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or tourism industry

• Passion for the outdoors: a genuine interest in outdoor activities, and has the ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including harnessing guests, operating ride and removing guests from ride vehicles

• Prior customer service experience will be an advantage

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessment (RA) to ensure they are clear, easy to follow and compliant with industry standards, regulations and internal policies.

• Lead the hiring process including recruitment, interviews and selection of the team members.

• Conduct familiarisation and onboarding trainings for the team members.

• Perform attractions wide and department duty coverage role, providing communications to other departments, including incidents management.

• Perform shift responsibilities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the attractions including queue and crowd management and ensuring attractions cleanliness and show quality.

• Manage ticketing and cash handling procedures.

• Ensure all attractions operate in accordance with safety regulations, quality standards and company policies

• Ensure delivery of excellent guest experience, including management of guest feedback on-ground and closing service lapses.

• Review, propose and execute ideas to improve business growth, attraction enhancements, safety standards, guest experience and operational efficiency

• Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain high levels of engagement, performance, safety and guest services, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Job Requirements: 

• Diploma or Degree.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in leadership and project management.

• Attractions’ experience will be an added advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day Facilities Management operations. Maintain plant equipment, electrical distribution boards and switchgear rooms.
• Conduct routine inspection on all M&E equipment, regular inspection and adjustment of lighting control.
• Able to handle installation works such as lightings and power points.
• Supervise contractors to ensure maintenance services are performed in accordance to specifications, relevant authorities’ requirements and within schedule.
• Check and certify the maintenance works carried out by contractors.
• Monitor utilities consumption and review operations needs from time to time to reduce cost for air conditioning and electrical systems.
• Respond to internal stakeholders’ needs and feedback.

Requirements:

• NTC3/Nitec in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience with strong technical knowledge.
• Able to read electrical wiring, control diagrams and drawings.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and system.
• Basic knowledge in air-conditioning including troubleshooting. Prior plumbing and fire protection knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and people management skills.
• Must be comfortable to work night shifts, and roster basis (5 days work week)
• Comfortable to work from height; job requires to climb a 12 metres lamp pole to carry out lighting refocusing and replacement of blown lighting where required.

• Conduct daily inspections of front-of-house (FOH) areas and back-of-house (BOH) critical systems and essential services to ensure all equipment remains in a state of operational readiness.
• Respond promptly to system breakdowns and resolve operational issues related to ACMV systems, Electrical systems, Generators, Fire protection systems, Plumbing & Sanitary systems and other building services ensuring minimal disruption to guests, staff, and animal collections.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for defect rectification and maintenance works.
• Supervise, plan and organise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Maintain accurate asset records for all M&E systems including ACMV, Electrical, Generators, Fire Protection, and Plumbing & Sanitary systems across park facilities and buildings.
• Monitor utilities consumption (electricity, water, etc.) and establish baseline data to support energy management initiatives across the park.
• Source, negotiate and follow up with vendors on repair and replacement work and ensure work done according to specifications.
• Maintain proper inventory control of store items including electrical components, sanitary and plumbing materials, painting supplies, carpentry materials, and hand tools.
• Ensure safe working conditions by implementing corrective actions to maintain equipment and processes within safe operating limits.

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (Facility Management/Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical or related field).
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in M&E or Facilities Management with supervisory experience.
• Able to demonstrate technical competency to analyze and troubleshoot M&E issues.
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Good knowledge on electrical wiring, control diagrams and drawings.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical faults and system.
• Basic knowledge in air-conditioning including troubleshooting.
• Prior plumbing and fire protection knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and people management skills.
• Must be comfortable to work night shifts, and roster basis (5 days work week)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of amusement ride mechanical, electrical and control equipment, including adventure play equipment in Rainforest Wild Africa.
• Logs completion of maintenance inspections, corrective action and/or repairs made using maintenance system such as daily checklist and logbook.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform troubleshooting and recovery of Ride related faults and Adventure systems
• Accountability of tools and equipment and good housekeeping
• Any other related work as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

• Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering or related field of studies with 2-3 years in equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manual to carry out work assignment.
  Ability to perform shifts including weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work at height.
• Basic computer skills (MS office).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Physically capable of lifting and installing of components
• Prior experience in amusement rides maintenance will be an advantage.
