Job Scope

• Operate 10ft lorry (on some day) and Van to perform daily collection and delivery duties safely and efficiently

• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of good according to assigned routes and schedules

• Load and unload items in orderly manner, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage

• Verify delivery items against delivery orders and obtain proper acknowledgement (e.g. signatures / photos)

• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeeping of the vehicle

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, tyre pressure, general condition) and report any issues promptly

• Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company SOPs

• Communicate with operations team for job updates, route changes, or any issues encountered

• Ensure proper handling of sensitive items (e.g. medical supplies, documents, or temperature-controlled goods if applicable)

• Submit delivery records, receipts, and reports accurately and on time
  

  Requirement

  • Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence

  • Experience in driving both van and 10ft lorry preferred

  • Familiar with Singapore roads and routes

  • Responsible, Punctual and able to work independently

  • Fit and able to handle loading/unloading duties

  • Van able to drive home
    

    Working Hours

    • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • Saturday: 8:00 AM to 2PM

Job Summary

You will support and manage daily courier operations, optimizing route planning to ensure smooth delivery processes and timely dispatch, driving operational excellence and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily courier operations by assigning jobs and planning routes to ensure efficient delivery schedules
• Collaborate with drivers, riders, and internal teams to facilitate timely deliveries and collections
• Monitor delivery performance and promptly resolve operational issues to maximize productivity and reduce costs
• Analyze monthly operational performance with key team members to develop and implement solutions that enhance operational excellence
• Lead and motivate courier teams to achieve high standards of operational performance
• Apply strategic thinking to solve problems and make decisions that improve delivery processes
• Manage time effectively to optimize route planning and ensure on-time delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in courier company operations
• Possession of Class 2 and/or Class 3 driving licence is an advantage

Other Information

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm
• Working Location: Redhill
• Salary Range: $3,500-$4,000 depending on experience
