We seek a passionate Full-Time Chinese Tuition Teacher to deliver engaging lessons for Primary and Secondary students, enhancing their language skills and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured Chinese lessons to Primary and Secondary students to improve language proficiency and academic outcomes
- Develop detailed lesson plans, teaching materials, and worksheets aligned with curriculum goals
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing actionable feedback to support learning
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that motivates student participation
- Communicate student performance and progress clearly to parents when necessary
- Evaluate and mark assignments, offering constructive feedback to guide improvement
- Contribute to centre activities and assist in curriculum development to enhance teaching effectiveness
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field
- Strong command of spoken and written Chinese to deliver effective lessons
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and liaise with parents
- Willingness to work on weekends if required to meet student needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with the MOE syllabus to align teaching with national standards
- Experience working in a tuition centre environment to understand student needs and centre operations
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities
