Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's long-term growth objectives
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in semiconductor fabrication plants, cleanroom construction, advanced manufacturing facilities, and industrial engineering projects ·
Conduct market research and competive analysis to identify emerging industry trends and opportunities
Formulate annual business development plans, revenue targets, and expansion strategies
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, investors, industry partners, government agencies, consultants, and contractors
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, business forums, and networking events
Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective customers and strategic partners
Strengthen relationships with multinational corporations and major semiconductor manufacturers operating in Singapore and the region
Identify opportunities for expansion into new geographical markets and industry sectors
Develop strategic alliances and partnerships with regional stakeholders
Support cross-border business development initiatives between Singapore and overseas markets
Coordinate with headquarters and regional offices on market penetration strategies
Lead project pursuit activities including opportunity identification, proposal strategy, tender participation, and contract negotiations
Work closely with engineering, commercial, procurement, and project teams to develop competive solutions for clients
Evaluate commercial viability, financial risks, and profitability of new business opportunities
Monitor project pipeline and ensure sustainable revenue growth
Provide strategic recommendations to the Chairman and Executive Management on business growth initiatives
Lead and mentor business development personnel and support talent development initiatives
Establish performance metrics and monitor achievement of departmental objectives
Contribute to corporate planning, investment evaluation, and long-term business strategies
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in business development, corporate strategy, project development, or commercial management
Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, engineering, construction, industrial technology, or advanced manufacturing sectors is preferred
Proven track record in securing large-scale projects and developing strategic partnerships
Experience managing regional business development activities across Asia-Pacific markets is advantageous
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Ability to analyze market opportunities and formulate growth strategies
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders
