Job description

We are looking for an upbeat, on the ball service barista to join our rapidly expanding team! Your workdays will be filled with customer interaction, coffee making, scooping ice cream, and of course sharing the love for our plant-based treats.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent Kind Kones as a server with enthusiasm and a can-do spirit

Serve ice cream, prepare desserts and beverages

Engage with customers to deliver exceptional customer service

Basic cashier duties.

Be knowledgeable of the ice cream/overall menu; be able to promote food items and make tailored recommendations

Assist in stock-taking

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas/outlets and ensure safe distancing is maintained.

Perform outlet opening and closing duties

Have a valid hygiene certificate

REQUIREMENTS:

You are 18 years or older

You have a desire to work with others and be part of a team

You have the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time (retail hours)

Able to read & speak English with proficiency

Must be able to start work at 8AM and occasionally do full 12 hour shifts

6-day work week and comfortable with rotating shifts, work on weekends, and PH

1 year barista experience required (working with coffee machines with extensive knowledge about coffee and prepares, decorates and serves drinks to the customer.

Shirt provided and covered shoes must be worn at all times

COMPENSATION:

Salary SGD 2000 during probation period of 3 months and to be revised after that based on performance.

CPF contribution will be included (for locals)

Job Description & Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and dynamic Event Operations Manager to oversee and execute all event-related activities for Kind Kones.

This role is responsible for end-to-end event planning, on-site execution, and post-event performance, ensuring seamless operations while delivering an exceptional brand experience. You will play a key role in driving revenue through events, partnerships, and activations, while upholding our commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination

• Plan, organise, and manage all events including pop-ups, corporate functions, festivals, and brand activations
• Liaise with event organisers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth coordination
• Manage event calendars, bookings, and logistics timelines

Operations & Execution

• Oversee full event setup and teardown, ensuring efficiency and adherence to brand standards
• Manage inventory allocation, equipment, and product transportation for events
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational guidelines

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and supervise event crew and part-time staff
• Lead on-site teams to ensure smooth service and excellent customer engagement
• Foster a positive, high-energy team environment aligned with brand values

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

• Deliver a memorable and engaging customer experience at every event
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Kind Kones’ plant-based philosophy
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Sales & Performance Management

• Drive event sales and meet revenue targets
• Monitor event performance, prepare reports, and suggest improvements
• Identify new opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and event growth

Administrative & Compliance

• Manage event budgets and cost control
• Maintain proper documentation, permits, and hygiene certifications
• Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event management, F&B operations, or retail operations
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle on-ground challenges
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on operational work
• Food hygiene certification preferred
