Position Overview

The candidate is expected to possess strong commercial acumen, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to manage high-value client relationships and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market share in the metal recycling and commodity trading sector
• Identify and establish new revenue streams, including cross-border trading opportunities for ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Lead client acquisition initiatives targeting industrial clients, traders, and international buyers
• Build and manage long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, buyers, and logistics partners
• Conduct in-depth market analysis on global pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing structures, contracts, and trade terms to optimize profitability and manage risk exposure
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure efficient execution of trade transactions and fulfillment processes
• Monitor and evaluate sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue targets, implementing corrective strategies where necessary

Requirements

• Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in business development, commodity trading, or metal recycling industry
• Proven experience in global trading of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Strong understanding of commodity pricing, market trends, and supply chain dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-value contracts and international clients
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial decision-making skills
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams in operations, logistics, and finance

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement / Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities within the metals recycling and commodity trading sector. This role is responsible for securing a stable and cost-effective supply of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, managing supplier relationships, and driving procurement strategies aligned with market dynamics and business objectives.

The candidate is expected to possess strong commercial acumen, in-depth knowledge of scrap metal markets, and the ability to manage high-value transactions in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies to ensure a consistent and competitive supply of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, including industrial clients, traders, and scrap dealers across local and international markets
• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to optimize cost efficiency and profit margins
• Monitor global and regional commodity market trends, including pricing fluctuations, supply-demand dynamics, and regulatory developments
• Establish long-term supplier relationships and strategic partnerships to secure priority access to materials
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely collection, delivery, and processing of materials
• Manage procurement planning, including volume forecasting, demand planning, and inventory alignment
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery reliability, and compliance standards
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supply disruptions, price volatility, and market uncertainties
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, trade requirements, and company procurement policies
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and performance metrics for management review
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing processes, cost optimization, and operational efficiency

Requirements
