We are looking for a dedicated and organised Administrative Executive to join our growing team at JL Cable Detection. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the company by handling both administrative and finance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase online authority plans (Good with google map)
• Process and manage workers’ salaries, overtime (OT) pay, and other related matters
• Assist with general office administrative duties and documentation
• Perform basic bookkeeping using Xero (training will be provided – no prior experience required)
• Monitor payment status and follow up on progress claims from clients
• Liaise and communicate with clients on project updates and administrative matters
• Answer and manage incoming office calls and inquiries

Requirements:

• No prior experience required (related experience will be a bonus)
• O-Level / ITE / Polytechnic qualification, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
• Only open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR)
• Good communication skills and a responsible attitude
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks

Responsibilities

• Prepare project quotations based on client requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams (technical, operations, admin) to gather necessary information for pricing
• Maintain and update quotation records, pricing templates, and customer databases
• Liaise with clients to clarify specifications, answer inquiries, and provide timely follow-up
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Support management in identifying and tracking new project leads or business opportunities
• Assist with general administrative tasks and internal business operations as required

Requirements

• Experience in construction, utilities, engineering, or similar project-based environments preferred
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, site layouts, and technical maps
• Strong analytical skills for calculating labour, materials, and equipment costs
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tight deadlines
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (for costing) and Microsoft Word (for documentation)
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
• Experience with tender submissions, proposal preparation, or quotation packaging is an advantage
