Responsibilities:

• Recognize changes to scope and notify the discipline Lead Engineer.
• Interface with other departments to obtain input for Discipline designs and drawings.
• Interact with suppliers, other discipline Engineers (Control & Instrumentation, Piping, Mechanical).
• Document substantive communications (communications that result in significant decisions or assignment of actions) and forward copies to Discipline Lead Engineer and Discipline Manager.
• Review vendor and subcontractor submittals, checking for compliance with project specifications and providing comments as necessary.
• Check engineering performed by others within Discipline.
• Process simulations (Hysys or similar) / Heat and material balances
• Process flow diagrams (PFD)
• Drafting and preparation of Piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID).
• Equipment and instrument process datasheets
• Process specifications
• Equipment list (process data)
• Line list (process data)
• Equipment and line sizing calculations
• PSV sizing calculations
• Experience in Heat Recovery Systems (WHRUs, HRSG, CCPP) or Power Industry would be an added advantage.
• Operating philosophy and startup and operating manuals.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Pre-requisites:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Design Engineering Consultant predominantly performing detail design.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experienced in Auto Cad.
• Familiar with the content and application of standards, codes and guidelines as applicable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Electrical:

·       Design of electrical systems accordance to IEC and Singapore Standards.

·       Design for HT/LT/ELV/ICA/ Earthing and Grounding System including design calculations,sizing’s and conceptual design drawings using advance tool and software; Cad,ETAP etc.

·       Design electrical conceptual design, SLD, project specifications, Schematics & Layout design (including library design), Cable Assembly Design & sizing.

·       Perform technical bid evaluation.

·       Work closely with Process, Mechanical, Piping and other relevant disciplines, and Quantity Surveyor.

·       Co-ordinate with clients, LEW/consultants on the technical requirements and attend technical discussions and meeting with authorities, developer, and contractors.

·       Develop interfaces for systems, sub-systems in electrical package.

·       Lead off-site/ outsource design engineers for large / multiple projects .

·       Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.

·       Provide technical assistance to Construction team.

·       Attend Site check/verification as and when required.

·       Attend technical meetings with clients, vendors, LEW, Consultant, FAT and SAT

·       Prepare BOQ, Material Take off.

Instrumentation and Control:

·       Design of I&C systems accordance to IEC and Singapore Standards.

·       Prepare engineering drawings / documents such as; Plant Control system Configuration,CCR and equipment room layout, Instrument datasheets, location plan, I&CCable schedule, routing drawings, Instrument Hook up and Loop drawings.

·       Design Control Logic Diagrams; OLCS & CLCS according to the process.

·       CCTV and Communication system block diagram and layout.

Pre-requisites:

·       Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Instrument Engineering.

·       Minimum 5 years of design experience in Power Electronics HV/MV/LT/ELV/ICA etc.,

·       Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

·       Proficient with MS Office Program AutoCAD. Autodesk BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.

·       Knowledge on designing in 3D layout & ETAP will be an added advantage.

·       Familiar with Singapore standards, Code of Practices, electrical design & calculation will be an added advantage.

·       Good knowledge of valve selection, flow meter selection, sizing of valves, valve actuator, flow meters and Automation system DCS/PLC.

JobDescription

·       Prepare and review of ITP and quality procedures.

·       Analyse and familiarize with project specification,standards and code requirement i.e. AWS D1.1, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, ASME SecI & ASME SEC IX  Etc.

·       Conduct, witness and review welding procedurespecification and welder/welding operator’s qualification test.

·       Knowledge of various Materials ie. CS, SS, AlloySteel etc., and able to carry out Material Receiving Inspection (Raw Materials,Valves etc.,), against mill test certificates.

·       Interpret drawings, prepare, review and oversee theexecution of visual inspection and NDT test plans.

·       Monitor and ensure proper documentation of projectinspection and test report and review delivery documents.

·       Liaise with classification surveyors and owner’srepresentative on daily inspection requirement

·       Perform specific inspection and related activitiesi.e. visual inspection dimension verification, hydrostatic/pneumatic test etc.in compliance with class/client requirement.

·       Evaluated and resolve technical problems fromproduction related to error in construction, initiate action to prevent theoccurrence of product non-conformities.

·       Audit and review internal and contractors’ qualitysystem.

·       Verify and maintain material and weldertraceability records. Prepare and compile traceability records.

·       Co-ordinate and supervise QA/NDT inspector onproject status and on QA technical matters.

·       Other ad-hoc duties deemed fit and necessary by thecompany.

Requirements

·       Diploma / Degree in construction related field.

·       Minimum (Degree-3 & Diploma-5) years ofworking experience as a QAQC Engineer M&P field.

·       Good knowledge of Codes and other QAQC relatedSoftware’s

·       Must have Certification in ASNT Level-2, CWI or CSWIP3.1 or Equivalent.
