Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site works to deliver projects on time and meet quality standards
• Monitor and control site activities with operations teams and contractors to optimize workflow efficiency
• Verify compliance of all works with project quality and safety plans, contract requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Enforce safety regulations and provisions on site to maintain a safe working environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction supervision role

Job Summary

We seek a detail-oriented Company Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting on liquidity, cash flows, and business position.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, and cash forecasting to ensure accurate financial management
• Analyze revenue and expenditure variances to identify trends and support financial decision-making
• Reconcile capital assets, trust account statements, fixed asset activities, and debt activities to maintain accurate records
• Prepare and produce financial reports and statements by monitoring and analyzing accounting data
• Establish and enforce accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Coordinate and complete annual audits to meet regulatory requirements
• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions to enhance efficiency
• Assign projects and supervise staff to maintain compliance with accounting standards and accuracy in financial records
• Maintain fiscal files and records documenting all financial transactions systematically
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and relevant regulations to uphold legal and financial standards
• Assist in preparing GST submissions to meet tax obligations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Company Accountant or in a relevant accounting role
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and databases to manage and manipulate large data sets effectively
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
• Ability to direct and supervise accounting staff to achieve departmental goals
• Diploma in Accounting or Finance
