Embedded Linux & IoT Application Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux & IoT Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation and connected device solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Embedded Linux, IoT protocols, middleware development, device integration, and cloud connectivity. You will play a key role in building scalable systems that connect sensors, controllers, mobile applications, and cloud platforms for smart building and automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Embedded Linux and IoT applications using Python and C.
• Design and implement communication solutions using MQTT, Modbus, RS485, and REST APIs.
• Integrate various hardware devices including sensors, controllers, RFID readers, Android terminals, and edge computing devices.
• Develop middleware services enabling real-time communication between embedded devices, backend servers, cloud platforms, and mobile applications.
• Build and support automation systems for smart buildings, room automation, access control, lift integration, and related IoT applications.
• Design secure and reliable device-to-cloud connectivity architectures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize embedded software and Linux-based systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Deploy and manage applications on Linux platforms using Docker containers and systemd services.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, mobile developers, cloud teams, and project stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Embedded Linux application development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and C.
• Hands-on experience with MQTT, Modbus, RS485, and REST API integration.
• Experience integrating IoT devices, sensors, controllers, RFID systems, and Android-based terminals.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems, networking, and system administration.
• Experience with Docker containerization and system service management.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-based IoT platforms and device management solutions.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and communication protocols.

Job Title: Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Access Control & CCTV Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, structured cabling, and associated infrastructure. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, label, and document low-voltage cabling systems.
• Install and commission Access Control systems, including card readers, biometric readers, door controllers, electric locks, and related devices.
• Program and configure Access Control Panels and management software.
• Install and configure various CCTV camera types, including Analog and IP-based surveillance systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot DVRs, NVRs, and video management systems.
• Install cable pathway systems such as cable trays, cable racks, conduits, J-hooks, and D-rings.
• Perform cable testing and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and handover to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation and connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate installation records, cable labeling, and project documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and service calls for installed security systems.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control, ELV, or Security System installations preferred.
• Knowledge of Analog CCTV, IP CCTV, DVR/NVR systems, and Access Control technologies.
• Familiarity with cable installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of networking and IP-based security systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings and installation layouts.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage.

4. Firestop systems, various electronic components, and various cable that includes but is not limited to: twisted pair cable, coax, power limited tray cable, stranded cable and solid conductor low voltage cable.
5. Cable installation includes: placement, termination, testing, labelling and documentation.
6. Install various access control devices.
7. Program Access Control Panels & Systems
8. Install various CCTV camera types both Analog & Digital IP systems
9. Install & Program DVR Recording Units
10. Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).
11. Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables.
12. Dress and route cable into closets and control rooms.
13. Firestop various types of cable penetrations.
14. Perform other duties as required.
15. Willingness to work Days, Nights & Weekends as required.
16. Willing to work in tight, confined areas.
17. Ability to carry heavy loads as needed.
18. Carry and climb ladders as needed.
