Job Summary:

We are lookingfor a detail-oriented and analytical Functional Tester to ensure the qualityand reliability of our software applications. The candidate will be responsiblefor validating system functionality against business requirements, identifyingdefects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-qualityproducts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
• Create and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

Responsibilities:

• Execute application development deliverables and activities
• Participate in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for IT Projects and to interface with various IT stakeholders such as 3rd party vendor suppliers, business analysts and project managers to perform development activities

Requirements:

• 5 plus year’s development experience and can demonstrate strong understanding of fundamentals of requirements specification, design, coding, and testing of information systems
• Programming experience in Microservices
• 5 years’ hands on experience in web application development on .NET platform using .NET Core, EF core, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, Entity Framework, SQL Server.
• Possesses good skillset in logical deduction in issue isolation and root cause analysis using various toolset e.g., Microsoft Sys internals Suite, F12 developer tools.
• Good working knowledge of Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes and Azure will be advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand and document business needs, business requirements and flows related to the Authority’s public services and application systems;

• Review business rules and service journeys, gathering requirement specifications, engaging stakeholders, creating user journey maps and wireframes, and providing support on updates to the Authority;

• Develop user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria, and create detailed process maps to visualize, understand and streamline current workflows and business processes;

• Review design specifications and project deliverables (e.g. monthly project report, log review for privileged user access, test plan, test reports, application design/code) to ensure the completeness for the Authority’s acceptance;

• Understand and review source codes from vendor(s) for deployment;

• Support and review on-site acceptance and System Integration Testing (SIT);

• Facilitate and support User Acceptance Test (UAT) and trainings for users;

Requirements:

• At least 3years of experience in business analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information/ Infocom Technology, or related discipline would be preferred;

• Strong knowledge in application support and maintenance and possesses hands-on knowledge and experience in end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle;

• Experience in IT project implementation, specifically on user requirements gathering, IT business analysis, application solutioning, UI/UX design and using automated testing software such as Tricentis TOSCA would be an added advantage;

• Experience in the following would be advantageous:

What we are looking for:
