• 5 days a week (required to work on Saturday & Sunday)

Job Description

• Man the reception desk of the school and attend to enquiries from new & existing parents
• Facilitate student registration process
• Organise and maintain course & student data
• Update statistics report for the branch
• Liaise with Chinese teachers and parents on administrative matters

Job Requirements

• Proficient in both Mandarin and English
• Must be able to communicate fluently in Mandarin with teachers from China
• Required to work on Saturday and Sunday
• Competence in PC skills (MS Microsoft Office)
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Confident with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Organised and meticulous

Job Summary

You'll be responsible for teaching students at various proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced, and fostering a love for the Chinese Language and Culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic lessons that focus on reading , writing, speaking, and listening skills in Chinese
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and empowered to learn
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and tailored support
• Incorporate Chinese culture into lessons, ensuring students have a well-rounded understanding of the language
• Collaboration with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the learning experience

The Ideal Candidate is:

• A trained early childhood Chinese teacher or ex-MOE Chinese teacher is preferred
• Strong communicator, able to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
• Enthusiastic about promoting Chinese language and culture
• Creative and adaptable, with the ability to keep students engaged
• Patient and empathetic, committed to student success
• Familiar with Singapore education curriculum and assessments
• Possess at least Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Chinese Studies, Chinese Language, or other related fields from NUS, NTU, NIE, or other reputable universities
• Able to work a 6-day work week, including weekends
