Key Responsibilities

1. Paid Media & Ads Buying (50%)

• Campaign Strategy & Setup: Plan, build, and execute end-to-end paid media campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, Google Display Network (GDN), and YouTube.

• Audience Targeting: Build custom and lookalike audiences targeting specific demographics (e.g., new BTO key-holders, homeowners planning renovations, smart tech enthusiasts, and interior designers in Singapore).

• Budget & ROI Optimization: Monitor daily ad spend, track KPIs (Cost-Per-Click, Cost-Per-Lead, Click-Through Rates), and aggressively optimize campaigns to maximize event pre-registrations and voucher downloads.

• A/B Testing: Continuously test ad copy, hooks, formats (carousels vs. videos), and landing pages to find the winning combinations.

2. Content Creation & Social Media (50%)

• On-Trend Content Production: Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit short-form video content (TikToks, IG Reels, Shorts) and aesthetic static graphics showcasing participating global smart brands, event exclusive "Sure-Win" prizes, and tech previews.

• Copywriting: Write punchy, engaging social media captions, email newsletters, and ad copies that embody the "Smart Home Starts Here!" theme.

• Influencer & Partner Collaboration: Coordinate with tech influencers, media partners, and exhibiting brands to cross-promote content and drive organic reach.

• On-Site Event Coverage: Step onto the exhibition floor at Suntec during the event to capture live content, interview visitors, shoot vox-pops, and run real-time updates/stories.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience running digital marketing campaigns, specifically managing paid ads and content creation (Agency or Event experience is a massive plus).

• Technical Ads Skills: Proven track record with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager. Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager and tracking pixels.

• Creative Toolkit: Proficient in mobile video editing apps (CapCut, Premiere Rush) and graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop).

• On-Camera Confidence: Willingness to step behind and occasionally in front of the camera to host quick event previews or product demos.

The Digital Media Buying Executive drives strategic planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across digital channels to maximize ROAS and deliver measurable growth in leads, sales, or brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to define campaign objectives, identify target audiences, and allocate budgets across digital platforms

Define target audience segments (e.g., homeowners, tech enthusiasts, industry professionals) and tailor messaging accordingly.

II. Digital Marketing & Content

Lead all digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing (EDMs), and paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) to maximize ticket sales and pre-registrations.

Oversee the maintenance and content strategy for the official event website (smarthometechshow.com.sg).

Manage content creation, including press releases, blog posts, video scripts, and marketing collateral highlighting key show features (e.g., Sure-Win Draw, Smart Home Tour, exclusive Hossey Deals).

Analyze campaign performance data (KPIs, ROI) using Google Analytics and social media insights, providing actionable reports and continuously optimizing campaigns.

III. Public Relations & Media

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media partners (print, digital, and broadcast), including media featured partners like Channel 8, The Straits Times, Hardware Zone, etc.

Secure high-impact press coverage, interviews, and features leading up to and during the event.

Manage the media registration process and on-site media centre operations.

IV. Exhibitor & Partnership Marketing

Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to develop marketing toolkits and opportunities for participating brands (e.g., Samsung, LG, Daikin, Philips, Aqara).

Work with strategic partners and sponsors on co-branded marketing initiatives and cross-promotions to expand reach.

Manage the execution of key show highlights like the Smart Home Tour and Trade-In Programme from a marketing perspective.

V. Operational Management

Oversee the design and production of all marketing materials, including the Digital Brochure, on-site signage, and print advertisements.

Manage relationships with creative agencies, media buyers, and printing vendors.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with proven experience in event marketing, consumer exhibitions, or trade shows.

Demonstrable expertise in managing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns (PPC, Social Media Ads, SEO, Email Marketing).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Mandarin/other local languages is a plus, given the Singapore market).

Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights platforms).
