Job Summary
Ho & Wee LLP seeks an experienced Accounts Executive to independently manage full sets of accounts, payroll, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a full set of accounts to ensure accurate financial records
- Monitor accounts receivable by preparing debtors ageing lists and following up on collections
- Perform accounts payable processing and timely reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
- Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Track and maintain disbursements for client files to support case management
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in annual budgeting for management decision-making
- Ensure timely month-end closing and submission of reports including billing summaries, bank reconciliations, income and expenditure statements, and balance sheets
- Liaise effectively with auditors and tax agents to facilitate audits and tax compliance
- Process monthly payroll and CPF submissions accurately and on schedule
- Prepare and submit employee earnings through the IRAS Auto-Inclusion Scheme to meet statutory obligations
- Administer employee medical insurance and benefits to support staff welfare
- Maintain accurate employee leave records and process medical and other claims efficiently
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with prior experience in a law firm essential
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with MOM regulations and Singapore labour laws to ensure compliance
- Strong organisational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
