Job Summary
Support the kitchen team in managing kitchen operations to deliver high-quality food with excellent presentation. Lead food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, control portions, and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient, timely service.
Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen team in daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and quality outcomes.
- Prepare menu items according to company recipes, processes, and presentation standards to deliver consistent food quality.
- Control food portions during preparation to minimise waste and spoilage, optimising kitchen resources.
- Train kitchen staff by assessing team performance to enhance productivity and skills together with the Head Chef.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of kitchen, workstations, and equipment to comply with food safety regulations.
- Manage kitchen opening, closing, and other side duties to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
- Ensure timely kitchen operations that meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
