Job Summary
You will prepare and update technical drawings, perform quantity measurements, and assist in cost estimation to support project execution and coordination at Hardscapes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD to support project design and execution
- Interpret engineering and construction drawings to produce accurate drafting and quantity take-offs
- Perform quantity measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to inform project costing
- Assist in cost estimation, quotation preparation, and tender documentation to facilitate project bidding
- Perform basic technical calculations to verify project requirements and specifications
- Coordinate drawing submissions and revisions with engineers and project teams to ensure alignment
- Maintain and organize project drawings, BOQ, and technical documents for easy retrieval and reference
- Track project progress and assist with project coordination and reporting to support timely delivery
- Ensure drawings and quantities comply with project specifications and standards to maintain quality
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D drafting)
- Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings
- Experience in quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation
- Ability to perform basic technical calculations
- Good organizational and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Drafting, or related field
