About the Role

The Data Governance Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping and operationalizing enterprise data governance, ensuring our data is well managed, compliant, secure, and ready to power analytics, AI, and digital innovation. This role combines high-level strategic planning with hands-on execution, requiring you to drive data governance adoption across business and technology teams, strengthen data quality, and embed regulatory aligned controls into day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for establishing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, system, policies, and process as regard to the governance, use and analysis of data.
• Translate governance strategy into practical operating models, processes, and controls across the bank.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in data governance, data management, risk, or compliance, preferably in financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of data risk areas(quality, privacy, security, access, retention).
• Experience implementing governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Proven ability to work with cross functional stakeholders across business and technology.
• Familiarity with MAS regulatory expectations, PDPA, and cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

A. Recovery strategy & end-to-end workout

• Take charge of the end-to-end loan asset repayment, formulating and executing case specific remedial strategies, including debt restructuring, security enforcement, repossession, and orderly asset disposal in the Bank.

• Operate the SAM regular action loop: track monies collected, refresh case status against multi-signal triggers, and escalate stalled cases on defined timeline.

• Make timely filing and enforcement decisions where insolvency is in prospect.

B. Third-party & legal management

• Liaise with and manage debt collectors, solicitors, valuers, lawyers and real estate agents on issuance of statutory demands and issuance of offer of amicable solution, etc, (or any other cases requiring legal action and third-part appointments).

• Submission of bills (including solicitors, real estate agents, valuers, asset disposal related expenses, etc.) through Financial Management System.

C. Classification, ECL & MAS downgrade governance

• Conduct periodic review and reporting of non-performing borrowers with justification for ECL proposed and appropriate MAS downgrade.

• Apply forbearance classification wherever the facts trigger it.

• Take charge of the annual review of Bank’s Credit Risk Management Policy, Procedures, and Guidelines (1. Collections and Classified Credit Management and 2. Post-approval Monitoring, etc.).

• Attend and participate in CRMC meetings, including but not limited to identifying and addressing audit findings and presenting as and when required.

Responsibilities

•        Ensure seamless processing of transactions for Loan products, Trade Financing products and Supply Chain Financing products.

•        Processing and managing of the payment process for loan referral fees.

Responsibilities 
Origination & Client Coverage

• Identify and originate financing opportunities in the private credit and high-yield markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-cap borrowers, private equity sponsors, private credit funds, and other market participants.
• Develop a consistent deal pipeline aligned with the bank's strategy and risk appetite.
  

Structuring & Transaction Management

• Lead the structuring of private credit and special situation solutions, including senior secured loans, mezzanine financing, bridge financing, and other high-yield structures.

The Credit Administration Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support in the processing and management of credit facilities. Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security architecture across both on-premises and cloud platforms, applying zero-trust principles and defense-in-depth strategies..
• Configure and manage enterprise-grade security equipment, including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), WAFs, CDN and proxy.
