• Technical Skills:

Job Description :

SAP BASIS / Convergent Charging (CC) Consultant is responsible for the administration, stability, and performance of SAP landscapes, with specialized expertise in SAP Convergent Charging. This role ensures seamless operation of SAP systems, supports high-volume real-time charging processes, and enables business continuity through proactive monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution.

The consultant works across BASIS and CC layers to support implementation, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing operations in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

1. SAP Convergent Charging (CC) Administration

• Administer SAP CC environments including instance setup, configuration, and maintenance

• Perform migration of SAP CC systems as well as routine system refreshes

• Manage pricing catalogs, charging plans, and configuration transports across environments

• Ensure high availability and performance of CC for high-volume transaction processing

• Troubleshoot charging, rating, and integration issues with upstream/downstream systems

• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of SAP CC components

2. Cross-functional & Operational Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional, billing, and integration teams to ensure end-to-end solution stability

• Support project implementations, releases, and production deployments

• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance requirements

• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials

• Provide on-call/standby support for critical production issues

3. SAP BASIS Administration

• Handle transports, client administration, and job scheduling

Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data models including ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects.

Develop and optimize SAP BOBJ Web Intelligence (WebI) reports with focus on performance, usability, and business alignment.

Build and enhance data extraction frameworks using CDS-ODP extractors and standard BW extractors.

Develop BW/BEx Queries with complex calculations, restricted/key figures, variables, and query optimization techniques.

Perform data modeling and transformation logic using BW transformations, routines (Start/End/Field), and AMDP where applicable.

Implement ABAP developments in BW including routines, customer exits, BADIs, function modules, and DTP filter routines.

Work on data loading processes including DTPs, process chains, delta mechanisms, and error handling/monitoring.

Design and maintain process chains for data loads, scheduling, and automation of BW processes.

Perform data reconciliation and ensure data consistency across source systems and reporting layers.

Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical BW/4HANA and reporting solutions.

Support system integration, testing (unit, SIT, UAT), and production deployments.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BW data loads, transformations, and reporting layers.

Must be knowledgeable related to Custom solutions related to Finance functional process and reports.

Experience in Asset Accounting from creation of Asset Classes, Asset Capitalization to Retirement

Knowledge in SAP ABAP and able to debug the custom programs.

• The candidate should have strong functional background in Finance and Accounting with experience in GL reconciliation and month end and year end process.
