Job Summary
Join MTN as a Halal Production Operator to upscale and produce Jiro Meat, maintain halal certification, and ensure smooth operation of machinery and production areas at our on-site plant and lab.
Responsibilities
- Scale up Jiro Meat production from laboratory experiments to pilot runs and full commercial manufacturing to meet quality and volume targets
- Operate production equipment to manufacture Jiro Meat consistently according to established recipes and standards
- Support the application process and ongoing compliance for halal certification and other relevant accreditations by preparing documentation and following required protocols
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and production areas to ensure operational efficiency and safety
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment
Required competencies and certifications
- NITEC / Higher Nitec qualification in Food Science & Technology, Food Science & Nutrition, or a related field
- Halal Competency Assessment (applicants without prior certification must complete this assessment)
Other Information
- This is a full-time, on-site role based at 12 Jalan Besut with a 5-day work week
- Shuttle bus service provided to and from Lakeside MRT
