Sales Engineer Job Scope

Responsibilities

1.     Respond promptly and professionally to customertechnical inquiries and requests, providing expert advice and support.

2.     Offer technical solutions and guidance toArchitects, Consultants, Contractors, and Building Owners to facilitate salesand project success.

3.     Plan and conduct technical and sales meetingswith customers to secure new business opportunities and meet sales targets.

4.     Build and maintain strong technical andprofessional relationships with existing and potential customers.

5.     Develop and implement sales strategies topenetrate new markets and expand the company’s technical footprint.

6.     Identify and pursue new business opportunitiesby sourcing and qualifying new customer accounts.

7.     Analyze market trends, industry developments,and competitor activities to stay ahead in technical offerings and marketpositioning.

8.     Visit customers regularly to support salesefforts, address technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

9.     Gather project requirements, prepare technicalquotations, tender submissions, and conduct follow-up activities.

10.  Managekey accounts, nurture long-term relationships, and identify opportunities foraccount growth and new account development.

11.  Ensuretimely and accurate submission of quotations and proposals in accordance withcompany procedures.

12.  Takeownership of assigned projects, focusing on must-win projects, and ensuringachievement of sales and revenue targets.

13.  Understandcustomer business outcomes, provide comprehensive technical solutions, andassist in meeting their project objectives.

14.  Achievesales and revenue targets set by the company, and actively develop new businessthrough technical product applications and solutions within Singapore.

15.  Preparedetailed proposals, tenders, and quotations tailored to customer needs; overseeproject execution to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

16.  Promoteand demonstrate the company’s technical portfolio to potential clients andsupport the successful launch of new projects.

17.  Coordinatewith customers and internal teams at all levels to ensure timely projectdelivery and technical support.

18.  Monitorand report on sales activities, pipeline, and project progress.

19.  Performadditional duties as assigned to support sales and technical growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and handle customer enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
• Provide technical advice and to render support to Architects, Consultants, Contractors & Building Owners respectively
•  Plan and conduct customer meetings to secure new sales and meet targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets.
• Identify and expand business opportunities by sourcing new customer accounts.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay updated on industry developments.
• Visit customers as required, assisting with sales and customer service issues
• Gather costing, generate a quotation, tender submission, and regular follow up
• Manage, maintain a good relationship with key accounts and identify potential new customers and develop new accounts
• Ensure quote activities are updated in a timely manner in accordance with standard process
• To take ownership of assigned projects and target on identified must-win projects to ensure meeting set order targets
• Understand and identify business outcomes for customers and help provide a total solution to meet these desired outcomes
• Responsible for meeting Sales target set by the company as well as developing new businesses through customers, products, or product applications in Singapore

• Prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations tailored to project needs; oversee project execution for profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Promote the company’s portfolio to potential clients and execute new projects effectively.
• Coordinate with customers at all levels to ensure timely project delivery.
• Achieve revenue and growth targets set by management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
