Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor in Audiology (Honors), Masters is preferred

• Registered/certified audiologist is preferred

• Minimum 1-2 years in a similar setting is preferred

• Clinical supervision and on-job-training on certain sub-specialty for new audiologist will be provided whenever necessary

• Familiar with hearing aid technology and other related updates

• Basic knowledge on some specialized areas including CI and MEI

• Knowledge in the relationship between hearing and speech

• Able to communicate well with hearing impaired individuals

Job Responsibilities

• Complies with approved standards of nursing practices
• Responsible for assessing the needs and delivery of quality geriatric / dementia nursing care to clients
• Perform pre-assessment of new clients refer

• Coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement plan
• Perform CPR, AED and first aid to clients and plays an active role in emergency situations.
• Assist and support delivery of health promotion activities in the Centre.
• Participates in clinical service projects
• Participates in infection control campaign activities.
• Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Nurse Manager.
• Participates in training and development of care staff.

Job Requirements:

• Valid SNB and BCLS 
• Experience in acute ward setting
