Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT),End-to-End Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Validate banking and wealth management workflows, transactions, and system integrations.
• Perform API and interface testing to ensure seamless integration between applications.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in requirement workshops, impact assessments, and solution review sessions.
• Prepare test plans, test reports, and testing documentation in accordance with project standards.
• Support release activities and ensure successful deployment of system enhancements.
• Conduct functional walkthroughs, knowledge transfer sessions, and user training where required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and testing best practices.
• Provide regular project updates, risk assessments, and testing status reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in SIT, UAT, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Hands-on experience with banking, financial services, or wealth management applications.
• Exposure to Avaloq or similar core banking platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience in API testing, integration testing, and defect management.
• Strong understanding in Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TFS, or similar platforms.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and assess system impacts.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Standards Enforcement: Ensure all projects adhere to the DBS Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Agile frameworks.
•  Audit Readiness: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and artifacts to ensure compliance with internal risk management and external regulatory standards.
•  Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate Project Steering Committee (PSC) and Working Group (WG) meetings, including preparing executive-level materials and tracking action items.
•  Budget Oversight: Track project spending against budgets, manage accruals, and flag potential overruns to Project Leads.
•  Resource Planning: Monitor resource utilization across various "squads" or departments to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal allocation.
•  Performance Dashboards: Utilize tools like Tableau, Power BI, or internal DBS platforms to create real-time dashboards for project KPIs, risks, and milestones.
•  Narrative Building: Translate complex technical progress into clear, simplified status reports for senior stakeholders (e.g., VPs and Managing Directors).
• Proactive Monitoring: Maintain and update the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
•  Escalation: Identify critical path delays and proactively escalate issues that may impact the project’s "market readiness" or rollout.
