What you will do

Scope, define anddesign solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions

Manage and supportcontainerized workloads orchestrated on Ericsson CNIS/ EVNFM Kubernetesclusters for Ericsson Mediation.

Integration using Diameter protocol and SFTP.

Install, configure, andmaintain Ericsson Mediation systems, ensuring reliable data processing andseamless integration within telecom environments.

Monitor cluster andapplication health, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and resolveproduction issues in real time.

Ensure highavailability, scalability, and security of deployments by adhering to bestpractices.

Conduct log analysis,debugging, and incident management across distributed application components.

Develop and maintaincomprehensive documentation covering system architecture, configurations, andtroubleshooting procedures.

You will bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• Overall 10-14 years of experience out of which at least 6-8 years as an Senior Solution Integrator in Telecommunications and leading large size projects.
• Handson experience of Ericsson Mediation Products
• Domain experience: area of expertise – Ericsson Mediation
• Proven e2e knowledge on the OSS domain with participation in complex projects in the area of network management. Should have hands on experience in deployment and system integration of OSS and NMS systems.

About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Core Network Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that support our next-generation mobile network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in mobile core technologies (4G EPC, 5G Core, IMS) and a strong understanding of network architecture principles, ensuring robust performance, scalability, and interoperability. 

Key Responsibilities: 

·       Lead the end-to-end architecture design for mobile core network solutions including EPC, 5G Core, IMS, VoLTE, and related systems. 

·       Analyze business and technical requirements to propose optimal network designs. 

·       Develop architecture blueprints, solution documentation, and integration plans. 

·       Collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendor teams during solution implementation. 

·       Ensure compliance with industry standards (3GPP, ETSI) and regulatory requirements. 

·       Evaluate new technologies and vendors to enhance network capabilities. 

·       Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex network issues. 

·       Support capacity planning, scalability strategies, and service performance optimization. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

·       Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 

·       Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in mobile core network design and architecture. 

·       Strong knowledge of 4G EPC, 5G Core SA/NSA, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and related protocols. 

·       Hands-on experience with network virtualization (NFV), containerization (CNF), and cloud-native architectures. 

·       Familiarity with vendor solutions (e.g. Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Cisco) and OSS/BSS integration. 

·       Understanding of network security and resilience best practices. 

·       Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

·       Certifications from relevant vendors or professional bodies strongly preferred. 

·       Experience with CI/CD pipelines for network function deployment. 

·       Exposure to edge computing and private 5G network solutions.

·      Perform Database design for Cloud native deployment

·      Perform Database installation, integration , Performance tuning, backup solution with Point in time recovery, connection Pooling mechanism  in Cloud native architecture.

·      Support application team during application installation and integration

·      Ensure all required configuration parameters are in place for all database related deployment. 

·      Collaborate with the deployment team on CI/CD pipeline activities to support deployments.

·      Support testing team and application team during performance testing and load testing.

·      Share knowledge with the team to reuse the solution.

·      Coordinate with the Testing team for execution and validation of use cases.

You will bring

·      Education Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology

·      Overall, 20 years of experience, including experience at the Solution Architect and database administration on large-scale telecommunications projects.
