Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Management (Core Function)
· Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations)
· Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
· Prepare timely management accounts and financial reports
· Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation
· Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
· Track project costs, revenue recognition, and profitability
· Ensure proper cost allocation and expense control
2. Compliance & Statutory Reporting
· Prepare and submit GST returns
· Support corporate tax filings and liaise with tax agents
· Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
· Coordinate with auditors for annual audit
· Ensure all financial processes comply with local regulations
3. Systems & Process Improvement
· Maintain and improve accounting systems / ERP usage
· Strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
· Support implementation of process improvements and automation
4. Payroll Administration (Secondary Responsibility)
· Liaise with external payroll provider and review monthly payroll reports
· Provide payroll inputs (salary changes, leave, claims, etc.)
· Ensure accurate records of payroll transactions in the accounts
· Assist with CPF submissions to Central Provident Fund Board and tax filings with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore when required
· Support future transition to in-house payroll processing in compliance with Ministry of Manpower regulations
Requirements
· Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
· 2–3+ years experience in full-set accounting
· Strong knowledge of GST and Singapore compliance requirements
· Experience with accounting software / ERP systems
· Proficient in Excel
· Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently
