Purpose and Scope

You will provide mechanical maintenance works to support the operations of the Energy from Waste plant.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources
• Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance
• Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management.
• Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives viz predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure
• Review budget, monitor spending against budget. control cost
• Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walkdowns, implement safety initiatives, and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties’ maintenance work
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution
• Ensure that maintenance works, and plant equipment comply with Statutory Requirements
• Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided)
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Power Plant environment or oil & gas industry

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, servicing, and installation of plant mechanical equipment (e.g., Pumps, valves, gearboxes, bearings, cylinders, belts).
• Understand fundamental mechanical concepts such as alignment, welding procedures and requirements, vibration monitoring, balancing of rotating equipment, thermal expansion, torque.
• Equip and utilize basic power tools and hand tools such as hand drill, chain block, torque wrench, dial gauge etc.
• Perform corrective maintenance to diagnose and troubleshoot plant mechanical equipment failure.
• Comply with the HSSE requirements and the PTW standards of the plant.
• Carry out necessary paperwork for maintenance jobs such as preparation of MSRA to reporting and recording of jobs done.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and parts.
• Inspect and supervise work done by external vendors.
• Execute scheduled, routine, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Report progress of the mechanical maintenance activities and keep equipment maintenance history records. Feedback requirement of spares and contract services for maintenance activities to your reporting officer.
• Follow maintenance work methods/ procedures/ frequencies for execution.
• Daily arrangement of the necessary resources and facilities for timely completion of the jobs.
• Execute annual maintenance plan and update history in SAP incl PM & CM jobs.
• Identify and eliminate hazards in workplaces.
• Execute maintenance strategy for various mechanical equipment and improve reliability and availability.
• Suggest and implement modification jobs, implement OEM improvement program & feedback for root cause analysis for an mechanical related failure.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Preferably with three (3) years of experience plant Mechanical maintenance.
• Experience working in the process plant industry is an advantage.
• Experience in Boiler / Utilities plant is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, result-driven and have a good sense of teamworking skills.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the plant maintenance is implemented according to best utility practices and staff undertake all activities in compliance with all regulatory, statutory and company standards and requirements i.e. HSSE, Process Safety, etc.
• Effect an efficient maintenance program comprising of condition based predictive maintenance, routine maintenance and the reduction of corrective maintenance. Develop techniques and systems to achieve high levels of plant reliability and availability to meet the identified and assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Responsible for the development and regular review of the annual maintenance plan.
• Ensure adequate quality spare parts and consumables are retained in the site stores and managed effectively through the work order process and in the CMMS. Effectively manage outage spare parts.
• Ensure all maintenance obligations are met and targets achieved to support contractual obligations.
• Prepare for the annual maintenance budget and effectively manage expenditure within the approved limits .
• Ensure timely submission of all reports for example: incident reports, shutdown reports, budget reports etc.
• Ensure all necessary plant maintenance documentation (including SOP’s) and reports are available and up to date. Ensure a comprehensive detailed maintenance historian is established and updated in the CMMS (SAP).
• Identifies engineering solutions to improve maintenance effectiveness and to improve reliability and maintainability of the plant. The areas include equipment and service specifications, selection of vendors, OEMs.
• Play an active role in the Root Cause Analysis of plant failures and incidents eg forced outages, HSE incidents.
• Be the subject matter expert for all plant and equipment. Lead the coordination for all contracts related to OEM’s, key equipment and manpower suppliers.
• Provides technical support to the other departments in the areas of plant maintenance and in the development of specifications for plant and equipment.
• Leads the assessment of new plants for maintainability and reliability. This includes participation in the development, engineering, construction and commissioning phases of new plants.
• Become a key member of the plant management team. Effective contribution and dialogue.
• Support the Dy/ Plant Manager to effect HSSE plant walkdowns, inspections, audits and safety programs, when required .
• Develop staff for succession planning purposes and towards technical excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering degree (Mechanical) recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Possess at least 10 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in the petrochemical, refinery, power or utilities industry. Experience in the Energy-from-Waste industry is a major advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications
• Good knowledge of International Codes and Standards
• Good analytical skills and sound knowledge of power plant equipment
• Possess good communication and leadership skills

Purpose and Scope

Provide technical support, performance and process expertise to ensure continued efficient operation, good plant availability, reliability and optimization as a member of the Instrumentation, Control & Electrical (ICE) team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Review technical documents.
• Work closely with operations, maintenance, business improvement, safety and procurement teams for improvement projects scoping alignment and execution coordination and review the selection of vendors.
• Review risk analysis on plant and equipment.
• Review the development and implementation of processes for asset integrity management systems.
• Facilitate the provision of discipline engineering support to plant O&M team to resolve issues that arise in the plant requiring expertise beyond the plant level and liaising with the OEMs/ vendors for problem solving. (eg. RCA)
• Formulate strategies for plant integrity and inspection with the maintenance team.
• Verify cross-functional integrity audit findings and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Drive equipment reliability and availability reviews to maximise equipment utilisation.
• Provide recommendations for equipment efficiency improvements, including new versus rebuilt equipment, existing versus new technologies and labour versus automation to achieve best value engineering solutions.
• Strategise the use of data analytics across the plant and derive actionable insights for alternative engineering solutions.

Qualification, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering etc)
• Both fresh graduates or candidates with proven experience in power/utilities plant operations and maintenance are welcome to apply
• Experience in handling projects will be an advantage
• Knowledge of reliability methodologies, including FMEA, RCM, and condition-based maintenance
