Job summary:

Responsibilities:

• Leads design workshops.
• Documents or reviews network requirements and High Level Design.
• Documents or reviews Low Level Design.
• Generates standard project documentation including detailed test plan for complex networks.
• Generate, build and execute technical and complex test plans and topology in CPOC environments
• Generates network configurations from Low Level Design for complex networks.
• Reviews Implementation Plans.
• Plans and executes complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity.
• Executes all phases of project delivery including network staging, implementation and handover.
• Carries out Knowledge transfer activities

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited University.
• Understanding of Security and Data Center architectures, including virtualization, experience in planning, design & implementation of Data Center infrastructure and security technologies
• Hands on experience with Nexus Product Family & Cisco ACI, VXLAN, EVPN, SDWAN technologies, as well as with Catalyst series switches etc.
• Deep knowledge In Routing & in technologies such as STP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, high availability, network/device security, QoS, IP SLA, network management.
• At least, 10 years Network engineering experience that includes deployment and migration
• CCNP equivalent certification or higher would be an advantage
• Strong Python/Java/JavaScript programming skills in Linux would be an advantage

The hands-on engineer will be required onsite during the engagement.He/she will work with the end user to define the specific daily activities, which include but are not limited to the following.

Responsibilities:

The dedicated Professional Services consultant is assigned to the end user.  He/she will work with the end user to define the specific daily activities, which include but are not limited to the following:

• Assists the Customer during the Think and Build phases of a project
• Develops and maintains technical project documentation: high/low level design documentation, method of procedure, test plans, configuration templates and scripts.
• Provisions, customizes and verifies Fortinet configurations based on recommended and approved design.
• Tests Fortinet solutions and verifies system behavioUr
•  Participates to interoperability/integration testing of devices that interact with Fortinet products
•  Recommends and Implements Fortinet best practices
•  Resolves and/or escalates technical issues in a timely fashion
•  Delivers general knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Develops and maintains core competency on Fortinet’s product lineand technologies

Requirements:

•  Education: Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
•  Extensive experience with designing, implementing and/or operatingNetwork Security solutions.
•  Hands on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer •  Fortinet NSE certifications would be an added advantage.
•  Mid to expert level experience in LAN/WAN/Network Security technologies.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills inEnglish.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team in acollaborative environment.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources,including management, clients, and other departments.
• Positive customer service attitude with excellent soft skills.

Employment:
Candidate will be employed by Consule and assigned to our client on a full-time basis. Our client is a global leader in network security. The successful candidate will be working typically on multi-year projects with candidate contracted for an identified period. These contracts are typically extended for longer terms.
