Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity fora fresh graduate who is eager to start their career in a fast-paced andsupportive legal environment. We welcome candidates with a diploma in LegalStudies, Communications, Public Relations, or Business, but no prior experienceis required, as we are committed to providing comprehensive training to theright candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
· AdministrativeSupport: Provide full administrative and secretarialsupport to lawyers, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, andorganising meetings.
· FileManagement: Maintain and organise both physical andelectronic case files, ensuring all information is accurate, confidential, andeasily accessible.
· Communication: Actas a liaison between lawyers, clients, courts, and external parties. Handleincoming and outgoing calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
· Billing& Invoicing: Prepare and process legal billing, invoices,and expense claims.
· OfficeManagement: Assist with general office duties, such asordering supplies, managing couriers, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Diplomain any field (Law, Communications, Public Relations, or Business preferred)
· Stronginterest in the legal industry and a desire to learn.
· Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Exceptionalorganisational skills and attention to detail.
· Abilityto handle confidential information with discretion.
· Apositive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively bothindependently and as part of a team.
