Get to know the Role:

• Assist the Tender Manager in preparing tender and contract documents
  • Interact with the architect and/or the client
  • Understand bid/tender documents/drawings/specifications
  • Quantity taking-off and put together bill of quantities
  • Undertaking cost analysis for construction works
• Subcontractors sourcing, negotiation and quotation confirmation including contract drafting and confirmation
• Communication with project manager and site team for works that require subcontractors or specialized workers.
• Communication with site team for preparation of clarifications, work valuation and certification
• Submission of progress claims and tax invoices to clients and consultants
• Certification of subcontractors claims and arrangement of payments
• Keep track of budget and report for planning

The Must-haves:

• Diploma / BSc degree holder in Building Science or Quantity Surveying from a recognized university
• Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes
• Min 3-5 years experience in quantity surveying, contractual drafting
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Good planning and time management skills
• A dynamic, positive and forward-thinking personality with the ability to work under time pressure

The Nice-to-haves:

• Use of QS software, AutoCad, BIM, etc.

Get to know the Role:

This is an evolving role which will encompass operations and sales for our newly formed division that serves the Tourism and Retail segment.

Operations

- Responsible for providing smooth, efficient, effective operational support for all project sites, including allocation/coordinate delivery of resources such as manpower and materials to fulfil scope and meet the needs of various projects.

- Identify inefficiencies in current workflows, propose innovative solutions, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

- Supervise labour force as well as the company-operated dormitory to ensure discipline, and compliance with standards and regulations.

- Ensuring that each member of the team is receiving the information they need to fulfil their responsibilities and that they do their part to maintain information so that it is current.

Project Management

- Responsible for end-to-end project management including preparation, scheduling and progress, client management, project costing and control, closure.

- Conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements.

- Coordinate activities with subcontractors in accordance with project schedules and contract requirements.

- Ensure that projects are properly documented for financial, safety and quality reporting to management, and audits.

- Monitor quality of construction to ensure compliance with building control regulations.

The Must-haves:

- Min 5-8 years experience in built environment operations.

Job description

-Responsible for all safety, health and environmental issues on various project sites within the company.

- Organize safety & health training and promotional activities, identifying hazards and advice control measures.

- Supervise and lead a team of Workplace Safety Health personnel and interface with operational staff on safety matters.

- Manage a variety of environmental, health and safety (EHS) activities to ensure that the organization complies with external EHS regulations and standards as well as internal environmental policies and EHS management systems

- Monitor environmental performance and identifying risks or areas for improvement, conducting safety & health audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment practices and working conditions.

- Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of HSE professionals to ensure that the organization’s HSE strategies is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the company complies with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.

- Initiate investigation into all accidents or incidents or dangerous occurrences and recommend corrective or preventive measures to prevent recurrences.

- Ensure that the environmental issues such as drainage, noise monitoring, pollution control and pest control are implemented in accordance with the statutory requirements and advise site staff accordingly.

-Advocate and inculcate a strong safety culture within the company.

Job Requirements

- Degree in Engineering or Environmental, Health and Safety or other relevant subjects.

- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower.

-Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental field.

- Good knowledge of Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental areas.

- Familiar with OSH/ ISO documentation.

- Good communication & writing skills is required

Job Description

• Perform full set payroll spectrum including CPF submission, Tax clearance and Yearly IR8A submission & Etc

• Submission of government’s grant (Skillconnects, Levy Waive off, Childcare, maternity, NS Claim, SDL , WTU Funding & etc)

• Documentation preparation for new employee appointment and existing staff, conduct staff orientation for new staff, exit interview for resigned staff & yearly appraisal.

• Workers’ Management (Including dormitory, training and workers’ counselling)

• Proficient in MOM Passes application, work pass application including WP, S pass, Employment Pass, renewal, cancellation, Levy Waiver application and MOM Appeals

• Create & maintain staff and workers' database, including personal data, medical leave, leave record, training record and etc

• Claim management such as Motor Vehicle Accident, Work Injury Compensation Claim & Workers’ medical Claim.

• Monitoring and arrangement training for CET to fulfill BCA requirement.

• Advertise, screening & conduct interview to suitable candidates for HR recruitment

• Maintain and monitor of Annual Policy

• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management

Job Requirements

• Preferably someone with experience in the full spectrum of HR with Diploma or Equivalent in Human Resources related

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent with at least 5 years of related work experience in construction sector

• Strong HR operational background, solid understanding of local employment laws and HR practices.

• Proficient in HR Software, Microsoft Office and Google Suite

• Has a strong passion in interacting with people and is willing to go the extra mile.

• Self-Starter and a team player with a strong sense of responsibility & self-motivation to get tasks done independently
