Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Business Support Executive to support the Finance, Human Resources, Compliance and Operations functions of the Firm. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute actively to the day-to-day operations of various departments in a lean and dynamic environment.

This role involves effective communication and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders across a broad range of tasks.

Job Description:

• Assist in the preparation and/or review of full sets of accounts, GST filings, corporate tax matters, and other bookkeeping-related matters.
• Assist in the preparation of business plans, budgets, management reports, financial forecasts, and related materials.
• Review and support the preparation of regulatory reporting, statistics, surveys, and related procedures, including submissions to MAS, IRAS, CPF, and other relevant authorities, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with outsourced vendors and service providers.
• Support translation work between English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Support the Trading Operations team in daily trade operations, including KYC onboarding, where required.
• Support ad hoc business initiatives, internal projects, and other matters assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential, as the role involves regular liaison with Head Office and translation of documents from Bahasa Indonesia to English.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, finance, or related fields is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business, compliance, operations, finance, and senior management teams.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage deadlines, including unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
• Strong attention to detail.

Job Scope / Description:

• Assist senior bankers in the deal origination, structuring, syndication, distribution and execution processes for debt and debt-related transactions
• Assist the sales & trading team in maintaining investor relationships as required
• Prepare and update marketing materials to clients, i.e. presentation / pitchbooks, market updates, etc.
• Monitor market developments, bond pricing, investor demand and relevant industry news to support both origination and secondary market activities
• Work with other departments like Legal, Compliance, etc. on relevant deal-related matters
• Assist with KYC / onboarding and accounting opening processes for issuer and investor clients

Requirements:

• Minimally a bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics, business, finance, or related disciplines
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in debt capital markets, fixed income, corporate finance, investment banking, or other related financial markets disciplines
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a must
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and Dealogic are preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent analytical skills (numeracy included)
• Good knowledge and interest in current financial markets developments, particularly fixed income and credit
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment, with the willingness to step up and take on additional responsibilities
• Demonstrate key personal traits like resilience, a high level of drive and motivation, willingness to learn; all of which will be key to achieving success in this role
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) applications

Job Summary

Lead and support senior bankers in originating, structuring, syndicating, and executing debt transactions while managing issuer-rating agency relationships and collaborating across departments to deliver successful debt capital market solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist senior bankers in originating, structuring, syndicating, and executing debt and debt-related transactions to achieve successful deal closure
• Facilitate issuer relationships with rating agencies to secure optimal credit ratings for debt issuances
• Prepare and update client-facing marketing materials, including presentations, pitchbooks, and market updates, to support deal origination and client engagement
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and other departments to address deal-related matters and ensure regulatory adherence
• Assist with KYC, onboarding, and account opening processes for issuer clients to enable smooth transaction execution
