About the Role
The Project Engineer will work closely with project leads, clients, vendors, and technicians to ensure smooth project execution from construction phase to data center handover.

Key Responsibilities

• He is responsible for monitoring, maintaining the Data Centre and coordinating the deployment, installation, and commissioning of data center infrastructure and IT systems, including power, cooling, fire suppression systems, and IT systems performance managing cabling works, server and network equipment setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• He will need to manage end‑to‑end delivery of Data Centre projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations.
• He will need to coordinate with internal teams, consultants and contractors to achieve project milestones and oversee project budgets, schedules and resources to ensure successful completion.
• After the completion of the projects, he will need to prepare project reports, documentation and updates for management and clients.
• He also needs to respond to alarms, faults, and emergency situations, and implement solution.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building & Construction, or a related discipline.
• Min 4 years of Data Centre project experience is preferred and local project experience in Singapore is required.
• Strong hands-on technical capability on Data Centres, coupled with project planning and coordination skills.

• Prior hands-on experience in data center environments including rack & stack, cabling, patching, and hardware installation.
• Basic knowledge of data center cooling, airflow management, and power redundancy systems.
• Candidates with other mission‑critical or high‑spec project experience (e.g. hospitals, airports, large commercial builds) are welcome to apply.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and deliver under tight deadlines.

• Some experience and knowledge of MEP equipment such as UPS, generator, Chiller, Pump, cooling tower is preferred

Job Descriptions

• Handle project coordination and responsible for all works in designated projects
• Responsible for overseeing the overall site progress to ensure the structural, architectural and MEP works of the project team and sub-contractors are in compliance with the defined standards and Safety regulations.
• Liaise with project engineer, site supervisor on all the coordination shop drawings.
• Plan and advise the construction foreman on sequencing and arrangement of work.
• Provide regular reports to the Project Manager on the progress of overall works in assigned projects.
• Attend technical meeting/site meetings with consultants, and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure architectural works are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
• Inform Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to architectural works.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/ or building and construction relevant field
• Well-versed in the operations, coordination and details for architectural, structural and M&E field works
• Strong leadership to monitor Coordinators and Foremen for the works executed

Job Descriptions

• Standby/Onsite to attend to service calls and customers’ needs
• Project coordination involving handling progress schedule of projects, assist with schedule and placement of work orders of new/ongoing projects
• Site inspection and ensure the quality of work are achieved and comply with authorities/customers’ needs
• Monitor project plans, handle customers’ complaints, offering appropriate solutions and alternatives to ensure customer satisfaction and resolutions
• Manage large numbers of incoming calls
• Liaise and coordinate with relevant personnel (Sub-contractors, Suppliers, and Clients) to coordinate and service projects and to ensure the smooth running of projects to ensure regulations are achieved and comply with.
• Prepare relevant documents, drawings, and service reports to assist in projects for submission.
• May be required to work on-site on certain weekends if there is a shutdown, to supervise projects, and assist colleagues
• Prepare post projects documentation reports after projects have been completed and gather data to analyze any shortfall in customer satisfaction, in order to ensure and achieve better customer satisfaction in the future
• Servicing, following up, and establishing a strong relationship and bond with existing customers to ensure customers’ satisfaction is being met and a long-term relationship is formed.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/Pre-U/A Level College. Bonus if possess Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
