About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Manager, Public Relation to lead and strengthen the global reputation of Muslim Pro and the wider Bitsmedia brand ecosystem. This role will be responsible for driving impactful public relations and communications initiatives across international markets, ensuring that Muslim Pro continues to build meaningful trust and engagement with our diverse global Muslim audience and stakeholders.

As Manager, Public Relation, you will develop and execute integrated communications strategies that amplify brand visibility, strengthen corporate reputation, manage media relations, and support key business and product initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Social Media, Community, and Leadership to craft authentic and compelling narratives that resonate globally.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and storyteller with excellent media instincts, crisis management capabilities, and a deep understanding of digital culture, audience sentiment, and reputation management in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. PR Strategy & Brand Reputation

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR and reputation strategies aligned with Muslim Pro’s global brand and business objectives.

• Drive positive brand visibility and thought leadership for Muslim Pro across regional and international markets.

• Identify timely media opportunities, industry trends, and culturally relevant narratives to position the brand proactively.

• Build strategic communication plans around product launches, campaigns, partnerships, community initiatives, and corporate announcements.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in brand messaging and public communications.

2. Media Relations & Communications

• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, media agencies, influencers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and strategic partners.

• Serve as the primary media liaison for press inquiries, interviews, statements, and media opportunities.

• Draft and review press releases, key messaging documents, media pitches, Q&As, speeches, briefing notes, and leadership communications.

• Secure meaningful media coverage across lifestyle, tech, business, entertainment, and Muslim-focused publications.

• Monitor media sentiment and public perception of the brand across all channels.

3. Crisis & Reputation Management

• Lead and coordinate crisis communication efforts to protect and uphold the reputation of Muslim Pro and Bitsmedia.

• Develop and maintain crisis communication frameworks, response protocols, and messaging playbooks.

• Work closely with leadership and internal stakeholders during sensitive or high-impact situations to ensure timely, transparent, and consistent communications.

• Monitor social and media conversations to identify reputational risks and emerging issues proactively.

4. Stakeholder & Community Engagement

• Strengthen relationships with community leaders, strategic partners, investors, creators, and relevant organisations.

• Support executive communications and thought leadership initiatives for senior management.

• Collaborate with marketing and social teams to ensure PR efforts complement broader brand and campaign objectives.

• Represent the company at events, conferences, media engagements, and industry networking opportunities where required.

5. Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Track and analyse PR performance metrics, media coverage, share of voice, campaign effectiveness, and audience sentiment.

• Prepare regular reports and insights for management with recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Use analytics and industry insights to refine communication strategies and maximise impact.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Brand Communications, or Agency environments.

• Strong understanding of global media landscapes, digital culture, and reputation management.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proven experience crafting compelling narratives and securing impactful media coverage.

• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

• Optimize for SEO: Ensure content is optimized for SEO, integrating keywords, meta descriptions, and appropriate formatting to improve content visibility.
• Content Quality Control: Maintain high editorial standards by performing quality checks on content before publication or distribution.
• Collaboration with Content Creators: Work with writers, designers, and other content creators to ensure the final output is cohesive, engaging, and aligned with the overall strategy.

Performance Marketing Intern

The intern runs the creative testing pipeline. He/she turns hypotheses into assets, putting them in front of real audiences, and reading what comes back. Core focus is paid user acquisition across multiple digital ad platforms (e.g. Google and Meta), with SEO work filling the gaps between campaign cycles.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys analyzing results just as much as creating the ads that produce them.

This is a 6-month, full-time, in-person, paid role based in our Singapore office, specifically for current pre-uni, polytechnic or university students residing in Singapore.

What it's like to market to a global Muslim audience

Muslim Pro reaches hundreds of millions of users across Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. The intern develops real sensitivity to how culture, language, and faith shape marketing decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Creative testing pipeline. Research new angles, write briefs, produce upload-ready assets, log every test in the Creative Testing Tracker.

• Weekly data-to-creative summary. Every week, one paragraph: what did the data show this week, and what should be tested next.

• Performance monitoring. Pacing checks, CTR/CPI anomaly flags, test result summaries, then flag and discuss with the lead.

• SEO support. Keyword research, content briefs, and article drafts ready for editorial review, running in parallel with campaign cycles.

Who we're looking for:

Someone self-directed who moves before being asked. When something is underperforming, the instinct is to ask why first, then go find out. Has likely built something independently before, just to see if it would work.

Doesn’t need to know everything. Needs to be someone who looks at marketing that works and marketing that doesn’t, and gets curious about the reasons behind both.

Skills:

• Creative Thinking: Can write a brief that explains why an angle would work, not just describe what the ad looks like.

• Data Literacy: Can read a performance report and explain what's happening; CTR, CPA, CPM, and basic trend-reading.

This is a 6-month, full-time, in-person, paid role based in our Singapore office, specifically designed for fresh graduates, or current pre-uni, polytechnic or university students residing in Singapore.

We’re looking for someone who wants to understand the complete user journey; from building initial brand awareness and community trust, to acquiring new users efficiently, and finally, retaining them. Throughout the next six months, the intern will experience high-impact cross-functional networking through our rotational model, offering direct exposure to our core marketing, data, and product teams.

What the intern will learn:

How to build brand trust and awareness (Pod 1)

Top-of-funnel community engagement and public relations. The intern will learn how to communicate Muslim Pro's transition to the "Digital Home for All Things Muslim".

How to run paid user acquisition (Pod 2)

Middle-of-funnel paid marketing and data analytics. How to spend ad budget efficiently to acquire users, test ad creatives, and track Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).

How to retain and engage users (Pod 3)

• Bottom-of-funnel user retention. The intern will learn how to reduce friction in onboarding flows and launch campaigns to keep users engaged and subscribed.

• Muslim Pro reaches 190+ million users globally. The intern develops real sensitivity to how culture, language, and Islamic faith shape marketing decisions across every stage of the funnel.

Responsibilities:

• Brand & Trust Sprints (Months 1-2). Execute a 2-week social media sprint (e.g., on TikTok) highlighting Qalbox or new features, and manage community interactions to gauge user sentiment.

• Platform Fluency: Basic understanding of social media trends (TikTok, Instagram) and an eagerness to learn digital ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads).
• Data Literacy: An analytical mindset to interpret A/B testing data, read performance reports, and track metrics like CAC and conversion rates.

4. Campaign Strategy & Execution (Charity Initiatives)

• Own the end-to-end strategy for seasonal and evergreen charity campaigns (e.g. Qurban, Ramadan, Winter Aid, Palestine Relief).
• Develop annual roadmaps, launch strategies, and thematic narratives that resonate with audience motivations and humanitarian needs.
• Align all campaign initiatives with organizational goals, donor expectations, and real-time global developments.

5. Cross-Functional Marketing Collaboration
