• Prepare and Oversee AR and AP functions, ensuring timely invoicing, payment execution, and accurate receipting.

• Contributed to monthly and year-end closing processes, assisting in the reconciliation of accounts and audit schedules.

• Generated ad-hoc reports to support management decision-making and tracking.

• Attend and manage department's administrative and other requisite eg Stationery and Filing 

• Executed administrative and support duties to ensure smooth daily operations eg: Registration, Enrolment and Admissions / De-registration, Deposit collection etc. with Social Work Team

• Carry out any other tasks or duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Requirements

• Minimum ITE/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

• 5 days work week plus 1 Saturday (Half day) . 

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Competent in accounting systems and MS Office (Advanced Excel skills, Sharepoint , Intranet are a plus).

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Available to start immediately or on short notice.

The Day Activity Centre (DAC) Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Centre, supporting staff development, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality programs for clients. This position requires a combination of leadership, administrative expertise, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for Centre's clients.  

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible in managing the day-to-day operations in the DAC.
• Responsible for the care and welfare of the Clients in the DAC.
• To communicate effectively with the Clients and their Caregivers.
• To supervise a team of care staff in the delivery of safe care to Clients in the DAC.
• To collaborate with the Allied Health Professionals, Training Officers in the delivery of activity programs, therapy care and behavioral support to Clients in the DAC.
• To provide accurate reports of incidents to relevant authorities.
• To ensure all documents are updated promptly and accurately.
• To oversee the overall financial budget of the DAC.
• In charge of inventory and proper disposal of DAC assets.
• In charge of managing the transport service to Clients.
• To assist in the mandatory audits of the DAC.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven people management and interpersonal and able to interact with clients and caregivers effectively.
• Budgeting, administrative, and operational planning experience.
• Ability to develop and implement programs that enhance client engagement and well-being.
• 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in leadership role. 
• Experience in the social service/healthcare/community care sector preferred. 
• Degree in Business, Commence, Healthcare or related field. 

You will assist our Matron in planning, organizing and supervising the functions and activities of the Home in compliance with standards set by MSF.

- Registered Nurse, enrolled with SNB.
- At least 3 years work experience in an acute hospital.
- Willing to work 2 shifts, weekends and Public Holidays as rostered.
- Passionate about working with the intellectually challenged community.
- Willing to be on 24-hour call as rostered.
- Able to converse in English and in other dialects.
