Job Description

1) Prepare drawings and detailed design documents for preliminary, construction and as-built status by BIM authoring software.

2) Report and assist the BIM Manager/Coordinator / Engineer in charge and use Building Information Modelling (BIM) to perform modelling & drafting works.

3) Familiar with BIM documentations and shop drawings production from the models.

4) Contribute and giving feedback on company BIM standards

5) Contribute BIM Good & Best Practice.

6) Assist BIM Manager in implementing and developing BIM deliverables.

7) Assist BIM manager on BIM technology implementation and ensure quality deliverables on projects.

8) Assist BIM manager to maintain accurate data set in drawings, design specifications and project schedules.

9) Good knowledge in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Bentley Open Roads, Revit, Naviswork & MicroStation, etc.

10) Create and update BIM models based on BIM guidelines and requirement provided.

11) Ensure proper documentation based on project BIM workflow.

12) Assist in BIM Coordination and attend site meeting or conduct site verification whenever required.

Job Requirements

1) Certificate from BCA, BIM Modelling course or equivalent.

2) Diploma or Degree in Engineering.

3) Minimally 2 year experience in BIM Modeling work in building construction and project execution.

4) Experienced in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Bentley Open Roads, Revit, Navisworks & MicroStation will be added advantage.

5) Must be proficient in BIM modelling & draft operational level.

6) Good interpersonal and communication skill.

7) Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and execute and adapt to new and existing process procedures and workflows

1. Responsible for leading the implementation of BIM workflows and processes within a project or organization.

2. Able to handle Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) meetings which are Internal and Coordinated Combined Services Model (CCSM) to work collectively and in parallel to resolve identified design and construction issues instantly using BIM models and to mitigate the latency in decision making and responses.

3. Coordinate with Consultants (AR/ST), System-Wide Contractors (SWC) & Sub-Contractors (MEP) within the project and the interfacing parties to ensure discipline-specific design and construction conflicts found in the clash detection analysis, have been identified, resolved, and rectified.

4. Using Navisworks to generate the Clash Detection Report and Bim Collab to enhance the report progress.

5. To review and validate the models created by different disciplines to ensure they are clash-free, accurate, and compliant with project requirements.

6. Liaise with Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer.

7. Participate in technical, design and consultants’ meetings to understand the latest onsite requirements and ensure drawings and designs are up to date.

8. Establishes and enforces BIM standards and quality control procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in the BIM deliverables.

9. Developing and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with the defined standards.

10. Oversee, coordinate, and manage his/her BIM Modelers to meet all BIM deliverables submissions and information exchange schedules as documented in the agreed BEP.

11. Assist project team in 3D models and 2D shop drawings.

12. Provide training and support to other team members who are less experienced with BIM software or modeling techniques.
