Responsibilities
Prepare measurement sheets and detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and documents to support tender and ongoing projects.
Develop and send request for quotation packages to suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate and formulate bills of quantities for direct and indirect project costs.
Source and assess suppliers and subcontractors for tender and ongoing projects.
Construct and analyze comparison sheets for quotations to inform procurement decisions.
Procure materials according to issued fabrication or shop drawings.
Prepare and submit variation order quotations to manage project changes.
Submit progressive claims to clients and follow up to ensure timely payment.
Prepare, check, and monitor project budgets to maintain financial control.
Evaluate and verify claims submitted by suppliers and subcontractors for accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in pre- and post-tender activities within the related field.
Experience working with structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical skills applied to project cost evaluation and procurement.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with initiative.
