Main Responsibilities
- Actively identify, qualify and acquire new accredited investors / family offices / high-net-worth clients to drive the Company’s AUM growth;
- Maintain and nurture existing relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention of clients’ AUM with the Company;
- Proactively engage existing relationships to encourage repeat business and identify continuing opportunities to increase clients’ AUM with the Company;
- Analyse and deliver timely insights on industry / client demand trends to support refinement of Company’s product pipeline and offering;
- Facilitate collation of required information for KYC / AML / CFT due diligence as well as execution of subscription and/or other investment-related documents.
Required Skills
- Network – Solid book of relevant contacts and industry relationships;
- Financial Expertise – Strong proficiency in financial products with a focus on private markets instruments including primary and secondary offerings in private equity, venture capital, private credit, structured products, etc..
- Consultative Sales – Ability to build strong relationships with and place funds from accredited investors / family offices / high-net-worth clients in private markets instruments;
- Organization – High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and strong time management;
- Ethical Conduct – High integrity, responsibility and adherence to confidentiality and data privacy standards when handling client relationships and business information.
Required Qualifications/ Experience
- Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or similar qualification is desirable;
- Experience – 8-10 years prior experience in wealth management, private banking or institutional sales with a focus on accredited investors / family offices / high-net-worth clients is required. Exposure to variety of private markets asset-classes is highly preferred.
