Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Business Support plays a key role in driving operational excellence and enabling sales effectiveness. This role oversees business support functions, ensures seamless coordination across stakeholders, and enhances internal processes to support revenue growth. You will work closely with the sales team, vendors, and customers while taking ownership of operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sales support operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and scalable processes
• Lead and manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including vendor coordination, order tracking, and delivery fulfillment
• Act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and high service standards
• Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost efficiency, and quality standards
• Drive process improvements and streamline administrative workflows to enhance team productivity
• Manage documentation, reporting, and record-keeping systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with exposure to sales support or business operations
• Proven ability to manage processes, vendors, and stakeholders effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset

• Ability to work independently while leading initiatives and supporting team performance

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery, implementation, and configuration of enterprise IT infrastructure projects according to customer requirements outlined in technical proposals.
• Engage directly with clients to gather technical requirements, provide deployment recommendations, and ensure project scope aligns with business needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, end users, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project reporting and risk/issue escalation to the project manager and senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with product principals (e.g., Dell, HPE, VMware, Microsoft) to troubleshoot, resolve deployment challenges, and validate solutions.
• Design, deploy, and configure enterprise storage systems, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), and Windows/Linux servers across multi-site environments.
• Conduct system acceptance testing, performance validation, and security compliance checks; prepare comprehensive technical documentation and runbooks for client handover.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex implementation issues across multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior engineers, ensuring project continuity and skills development within the team.
• Support pre-sales teams by providing technical input on solution feasibility, deployment timelines, and resource planning.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on expertise in enterprise Storage, Virtualization, Windows, and Linux Server Implementation.
• Additional knowledge of networking, backup solutions, and security frameworks is an advantage.
• Degree / Diploma in IT / Computer Studies or equivalent.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in systems and/or network engineering, with proven track record of handling complex, large-scale deployments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and vendors in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to assess business continuity requirements, design tailored backup policies, schedules, and retention strategies aligned with compliance and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of backup solutions.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex implementation or recovery challenges across multiple concurrent projects.
• Deploy and configure enterprise backup solutions such as Avamar, Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, and Networker, including integration with storage, servers, and virtualization environments.
• Conduct regular recovery drills, disaster recovery simulations, and compliance audits to validate resilience and adherence to governance frameworks (e.g., MAS TRM, ISO 27001).
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring to client IT staff and junior engineers to strengthen operational readiness.
• Document solution designs, configuration standards, and runbooks for long-term operational sustainability.
• Support pre-sales by providing technical consultation, feasibility assessments, and effort estimation for backup and recovery solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in deploying and managing enterprise backup tools (e.g., Avamar, Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, Networker).
• Strong understanding of system, storage, and network concepts, with ability to design integrated backup strategies for hybrid environments.
• Degree / Diploma in IT / Computer Studies or equivalent.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in backup engineering, with exposure to large-scale enterprise or regulated industry environments.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., data residency, GDPR, MAS, ISO) is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Project Managers to manage complex infrastructure, hardware, networking, cloud, and security projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple IT Systems Integration projects across various industries, ensuring successful delivery within budgeted resources and time.

We are looking for candidates who has:

Project Management Experience

• Extensive experience in implementing large complex infrastructure, hardware, networking, cloud, security projects as Project Manager in SI/Vendor/Product Principal environments (main experience)
• Project Management experience in projects such as SaaS business applications, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), ETL, analytics and custom development as secondary project management experience
• Ability to project manage multiple IT Systems cut across multi-industry clients
• Sound decision making, continuous improvement mindset and calm leadership of project team under the pressures of resource, budget and time constraints
• Work closely with technical leads, engineers, partners to manage project delivery

Project Management Best Practice

• Confidence and strength in articulating and leading members to follow project management methodologies Waterfall / SCRUM / Agile
• Strong and consistent in using PMO Project Management Best practices, tools and techniques for client projects
• Efficient in management of time, scope, cost, quality issues, risks, change requests and internal/external/client escalations
• Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively and experienced in project financial reporting

Project Management Pre-Sales Engagement

• Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales Solution Architects to document and present solutions during proposal stage
• Tender response, SOW, project planning, project roadmaps, project effort estimation, project organization chart

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to coordinate between technical, business teams and executive “C” level clients

Qualifications:

• At least 8+ years of project management experience with majority of years in Infrastructure/Hardware/Networking & Monitoring/Cloud/Security Systems projects
