Key Responsibilities

• Support identification and engagement of new customer opportunities across government, statutory board, and enterprise accounts

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Project and Technical Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of our security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in system implementation, technical coordination, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage assigned projects involving integrated security systems such as CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, and intercom systems

· Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems according to customer requirements, budget, and schedule

· Supervise and monitor progress of project on-site

· Conduct site surveys and attend site meetings to monitor project progress

· Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure technical compliance and accurate reporting

· Utilize BIM tools to support project design, coordination, clash detection, and documentation

· Prepare and update technical drawings including shop drawings, floor plans, and single-line diagrams using BIM and CAD platforms

· Sourcing materials and coordinate timely delivery aligned with site progress and budget constraints

· Respond to customer feedback and complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions

· Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, technical challenges, and forecasts

Requirements

· Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, or related field

· 2–5 years of experience in project engineering or system integration

· Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and IP networking

· Proven experience in AutoCAD and BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) is preferred

· Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure

1. Plan and coordinate daily work schedules for technicians, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems.

2. Allocate manpower based on workload, skills, and site requirements.

3. Monitor job progress and resolve operational or technical issues when necessary.

4. Supervise the maintenance team, including attendance, overtime, and productivity tracking.

5. Provide technical guidance and support for issue escalation.

6. Manage maintenance contracts, preventive maintenance schedules, and service documentation.

7. Act as the key contact for customer service requests and operational issues.

8. Work with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

2. Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in electronic security systems and system integration

3. At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

4. Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily technician schedules, including manpower allocation, job progress tracking, and resolving operational issues to ensure efficient service delivery.

5. Supervise maintenance operations, including team attendance and productivity, while managing preventive maintenance schedules, maintenance contracts, and service documentation.

6. Experience coordinating with internal teams and external clients

7. Have technical knowledge of electronic security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control, and intrusion alarm systems, with the ability to perform troubleshooting and support technical issue escalation.

8. Good understanding of IP networking and system integration related to security system installation, configuration, and maintenance.

9. Willing to travel to customer sites when required

10. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks

11. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

12. Possess valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred)
