Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and adequate production to meet customer and company demands
• Optimize production yield by minimizing costs, reworks, and rejects
• Manage raw material usage and inventory effectively
• Assist in production manpower planning and staff deployment
• Support the smooth operation of daily production activities across departments
• Train operators to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to processes
• Delegate tasks and assign duties to production team members
• Ensure proper implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Facilitate clear and effective communication within the production team
• Inspect output to ensure it meets required quality standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues promptly
• Ensure cleanliness and operational readiness of production equipment and facilities
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety and hygiene regulations
• Coordinate with logistics for smooth delivery and support operations
• Conduct training and monitor team member performance based on KPIs

Job Requirements / Candidate Profile:

• Strong interest and passion for the food industry
• Proven experience in production planning and forecasting
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
• Excellent coaching, leadership, and team management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, able to coordinate across departments effectively
• ITE/Diploma in related field
• At least secondary School qualification
• At least 2 years of working experience in a production-related position
• Able/ conversant in Word, Excel and normal computer literacy

Job Description

· To plan overall operation schedules and ensure that operations targets are achieved in terms of deliverables and timing

· Supervise the daily activities of warehouse department activities within assigned area(s) such as shipping, receiving, selection, loading and storage. Work with cross-functional departments as it relates to the distribution center operations and ensure prompt and timely resolution of any issues

· Schedule and assign work to warehouse associates to complete workload in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining productivity, accuracy, excellent customer service and safe work environment; plan and schedule activities to control costs on labor and supplies

· Ensure compliance with distribution procedures and regulations (i.e., safety, sanitation, covid SOP)

· Ensure proper maintenance of and report any issues related to machinery and equipment

· Ensure quality of stocks received and distributed are in good condition and report any issues related to stocks

· Report and/or address any issues or work-related injuries, and participate in any investigations as required

· Ensure operation team is properly trained and assist with training team on changes in processes and procedures

· Responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of operation team, and developing and monitoring department goals

· Support in logistics arrangement e.g. out-bound deliveries to customers, coordinating third party logistics

Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Warehouse / Operation management

• Able to manage manpower and work allocation.

• Trains, motivates and guide subordinates to maintain proper discipline at workplace and work as a team

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising work performance with subordinates and various departments to get the job done

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.

• Result oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
